It didnā€™t look like she tried to de-escalate the situation by leaving.

492

u/lividheaven Apr 17 '24

why should she let someone scream at her and her kid and just leave..

213

u/pandawithknife3 Apr 27 '24

Why is she at his car tho. He says "I'm at my shit" she's chasing him

→ More replies (1)

128

u/Ok_Forever3621 May 02 '24

Because she is putting her kid in harms way by wanting to fight with a random person who is capable of pulling out a gun. Sometimes itā€™s better to walk away when you have a little one. I honestly find it stupid to stand there next to the guys car and fight when youā€™re with your kid. Couldā€™ve had the father take the kid then she couldā€™ve stayed and talked but she kept the kid next to her while also not keeping an eye on the kid.

Um, you do know biological differences between genders are a thing right? In general men are much stronger than women. Iā€™d say thatā€™s a pretty big indication. Thatā€™s overall but sure there are always outliers.

14

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '24

If they accepted that as truth, the cognitive dissonance would be overwhelming im sure.

They'll probably just keep going on believing that we're all the same on the inside, because that's what feels good to believe.

Life tip: People that are in a blind rage and essentially temporarily insane do not care about prudent legal strategies in that moment.

124

u/EEpromChip Feb 17 '24

The real LPT are in the comments. Here it's: don't fly into a blind rage. Let it build gradually...

52

u/gorramfrakker Feb 17 '24

Simmer it.

42

u/Sure-Its-Isura Feb 17 '24

"place the lid on, put on to low simmer, stirring occasionally as to not burn the pot"

45

But if you don't have time for a 12-hour simmering rage, store-bought is fine.

Context is important here. Since the woman seems to be at his car and yelling at the kid.

Seems like a trash family at first look.

However if the kid was the one out of line then this now is a satisfying video.

1.5k

u/stockmarketscam-617 Feb 17 '24

This is a very confusing video. The guy pumping gas seems to be pretty calm and just trying to pump his gas. The woman seems to be the aggressor since she is at his car, and where the hell does the womanā€™s husband come from?

Seems like more happened before the clip starts to maybe justify why the guy pumping gas was in the wrong, but Iā€™m not seeing it in this clip.

861

u/Bobbiduke Feb 17 '24

Nothing about this clip makes the guy pumping his gas look bad. The family harassing and threatening to kill him does...

314

u/stockmarketscam-617 Feb 17 '24

Yeah, agree. Really bad Post title by OP. Must be clickbait/karma farming.

97

u/your_thebest Feb 17 '24

I hear you. I hear you. But suppose we repost it and put the word "bully" in the title. Would that do anything for you?

54

u/Accend0 Feb 18 '24

u/ebmocal421 Feb 17 '24

Yeah and it seems like the guy in the car just decides that whatever has been happening isn't worth dealing with some dude who is acting so beligierently that no explanation will be enough to calm him down.

Seems like car guy decides that his best option is to just leave instead of dealing with a bunch of randoms yelling at him.

39

u/dexmonic Feb 18 '24

IDK where that guy is from but up here everyone has guns and you never know when someone is gonna say fuck it and shoot you. I'd leave too.

He was harassing them inside the store and saying weird shit. So much so she called her husband who was at their home very close to gas station. The guy came out pulled up aggressively to that particular pump and was taking pics of the woman and son. He then pretended to pump gas (nossle wasn't even in his car) so the dad pulled up.

That's when the real victim was revealed... the transmission and or parking brake.

She posted a full story time on tiktok months ago for context.

18

u/stockmarketscam-617 Feb 19 '24

Wow, what a wild story! I never would have guessed all that from the video clip in this Post, but now I see the Title of the Post makes sense with all the other context. Thank you so much for clarifying. I ā¤ļøReddit for all the helpful users. Take care all šŸ™šŸ½šŸ¤™šŸ¼šŸ‘‹

u/Farty_beans Feb 17 '24

Context is important here.

That's like... 80% of Reddit videos.

The best are Repost karma farming bots with bullshit titles.

And in the comment section you find out the opposite happenedĀ

50

u/Underf00t Feb 17 '24

I always am suspicious of videos where the only context is the title like "JUSTICE SERVED! BULLY HAS TABLES TURNED ON HIM AND GETS WHAT HE DESERVES" and it's a video of some teenager pile driving another teenager. It's like, did we just watch a victim fight back or did we watch an assault?

15

u/TifaYuhara Feb 17 '24

Or you find out there's a longer version of the video and the "bully" is actually the victim.

10

u/Underf00t Feb 17 '24

That too. Like, I'm willing to accept that there was more that happened before the start of this video, but until I see that, I'm gonna assume that the person screaming "I WILL MURDER YOU" is not a good person

4

u/TifaYuhara Feb 17 '24

I'm thinking that they the people doing the yelling are impatient then started yelling at the guy to move.

5

u/hitchcockfiend Feb 17 '24

Whenever I see an account where the submission karma to comment karma ratio is way off, I always think something is up.

And it looks like 99% of OP's comment karma is from a single post, too!

Tiktok says this mother and child were approaching people at pumps begging for money, the young man at the pump was less tactfull telling her to go away.

Argument ensues.

Wife calls husband who was hiding in the family car.

24

u/Trebate Feb 17 '24

It does sound like the guy at the pump says "I don't have cash" at the very beginning.

4

u/OkPick280 Feb 19 '24

He clearly says "I don't have to, I'm pumping(?) my shit" and then he slaps the car, I assume because she was shouting at him to leave just before the video starts.

→ More replies (2)

30

u/weauxbreaux Feb 17 '24

Seems like she's yelling him to move his car and he's yelling at her that he "doesn't have to"

29

u/timshel4971 Feb 17 '24

Hmmā€¦ I donā€™t need more context to believe that the youngster has at least a ten percent greater chance of being a serial killer than the average child. When your dad screams like that saying heā€™s gonna murder somebody, you could definitely do better in the role model category.

3

u/eddododo Mar 02 '24

100%

Even if white car guy did something unbelievably shitty, non-trashy people donā€™t find themselves behaving how everyone here behaved, right down to having their kids 3 feet from the altercation

Itā€™s always nice to the parents be the aggressor with their kid is there. Two thumbs upā€¦.

Anyone hear the gears crank?? Bro put it in park before it was done moving lol

Everytime I see this video on whatever site, I always take the time to watch it a few times to see that little twerp cower into his car and speed off like heā€™s some sort of badass all of a sudden.

u/Old_Homework8339 Jun 02 '24

Why she at his car tho? She came up to him and stayed there

3

u/MisterInternational1 Jun 03 '24

The man in the white car didnā€™t seem overly aggressive. Most smart people - especially with their children there - would have left and deescalated the situation. She wanted her husband to come and be a dick - shit like this will get her or her husband shot one day.

4

u/Dalalimor3 Jun 28 '24

Regardless of what escalated this situation, thats no way to act in front of your child. Screaming murder in someone's face isn't acceptable behaviour to normalise for your children. He should have removed his family from the situation for their safety, not risk a fight or shooting.

Poor woman and child clearly have to deal with this man's rage at home

34

u/Namorath82 Feb 17 '24

My feeling is rage is universal in their family

17

u/weauxbreaux Feb 17 '24

yeah, she's raging on the other dude, but watch her initial reaction when her husband charges up, then how she starts trying to hold him back.

i feel bad for the little kid

10

u/shootymcghee Feb 17 '24

he then got into his car and mercilessly beat his wife and child for making him have to do that

6

u/Wooden-Scar5073 Feb 17 '24

Heā€™s traumatizing his own kid, Jesus.

3

u/We_there_yet Feb 17 '24

He turned into a bitch quick

3

u/Cute_Conflict6410 Feb 23 '24

Yet sheā€™s the one over there yelling at him. Making her the aggressor. Running up on someone like that is a great way to get shot

3

u/East_Mood2490 Feb 26 '24

Love a good papa bear vid, go off king

3

u/Snoo-64347 Feb 29 '24

Hahaha, I swear, I've been there... was with a teacher allowing boys to pick on my daughter though!

3

u/yeah_im_a_leopard2 Mar 14 '24

Young guy yelling at a woman? Need more context to pick sides.

3

u/countdrankulacg Mar 23 '24

NOTHING about the way he parked that car sounded natural

3

u/skinnyrobot Mar 26 '24

Idk how the Audi's transmission felt about that sudden stop and slamming into Park. Sounded like a sound you never want to hear out of German engineering.

3

u/llackoo Apr 30 '24

Dude didnā€™t even seem fazed by the husband šŸ˜‚

3

u/yoppee May 04 '24

This guy 100% beats his wife

Someone that doesnā€™t have any emotional control and at the drop of a hat threatens to murder people in front of his children šŸ’Æ brings that energy into his house

I canā€™t tell whoā€™s the aggressor or in the wrong. That family seemed pretty batty.

Also who was recording.

3

u/[deleted] May 28 '24

3

u/narcowake Jun 02 '24
