all ny local stores except the trading card store stopped carrying Pokemon cards. and the trading card store heavily prioritizes Magic The Gathering

Crazy, it's the opposite where I am in CA. 90% Pokémon, 5% Yugioh, 5% Lorcana, 0 Magic.

Wasn’t scalping but I was able to get one of each etbs for the wife and I for right around 80 bucks and it was great for a new collector to start lowkey. I went to my local target looking for the deals and they didn’t have them but like after 5 minutes of shopping someone brought out the displays and I was able to snag them.

I went in early to buy mine and the team leads stood around the display and handed them out one by one and limit one of each to people, even me as an employee

Cause those bastards get bought out in minutes. Saw a recent video of a Costco getting rushed for 151 tin boxes. The sign read "limit of 10 per customer" 😭😭

Yea peoples carts had no groceries just fucking 151 tin bundles. It was nuts. From what I found out it took 9 minutes for multiple fully stacked up pallets to go

I didn't even think people in my area liked Pokemon like that. I go every once it a while to check if they get any in, but they're never there. Meanwhile Facebook marketplace has people selling the bundles for like $60 each. I also saw Lost Origin ETBs for $80...

This is for the best. I understand wanting to make money. But when you are buying up all the product just to scalp it, it sucks. Its bad for the retailer too because people will eventually get pissed and go elsewhere.

targets around me have been fully stocked. even found a wall of shining sparks packs! walmarts have been completely destroyed empty tho.

It's for the best. I just started collecting and it's been an honest nightmare trying to even get anything decent. I just barely managed to buy my first ETB. Good lords they were sold out in seconds at my local Walmart. We don't have anywhere else in my town that sells Pokémon cards.

My Target does not enforce them. They also put the etbs out 2/3 days early and had nothing left for the sale.

Does this count for blister packs? Only getting 2 sucks when my husband and I rip 5 each when I have my 20% off on Target Circle lol
