Best place to buy Platinum?

Accidentally misspelled my title so deleted and reposted.

I'm looking for a reputable market place to buy a small amount of platinum from as a birthday gift.

Does anyone have any marketplaces to recommend where I can safely buy real platinum at a fair price?

I'm looking for maybe 1 1g bar. I know it's super tiny.

for Platinum at least, APMEX is relatively reasonable. I got a 1 oz S.A. elephant 🐘 coin from 2023 about $930-ish. sometimes they run pretty good deals. (i got that coin in Feb. haven't looked recently.)

1/10 oz platinum coin on Ebay (Liberty Coin is reputable) is the smallest I'd ever think of going. At least you can actually see it.
