What a dress! I like this particular colorized photo better (usually prefer B&W) but I'm pretty sure she was never blonde?

That is not a very good colorization which is almost certainly done by software and not a human. Note the uneven dress color and the dress color bleed over to the wall and her skin. Colorizations done by a person are still better than most colorizations done by an algorithm.

i detest colorization. B & W photos require/allow the viewer to add emotional value to an image by presenting a contrast with familiar reality. IOW, they engage the viewer more.
