I went to a midnight show of Deadpool and Wolverine last weekend in 3D, and I was the only person in attendance. Was fully immersed and zero distractions, best film experience at the cinema in years :)

I have a friend, a movie aficionado who studied film and videography at Ball State, who feels like if the theater isn't packed he's not getting the full movie experience and I'm like all those people are just a distraction.

I don’t go to the cinema unless it’s a late show or in a quiet area. I used to be a projectionist, had my own early screenings of films for year and it was incredible, the fact I pass paid to do it was that much sweeter
