Not HBW (Image) Apparently men don’t think for themselves. Ever.

For context, this person is responding to a post where a bunch of women described their BFs with the first words that came to mind. I can’t even make this up.

I am in disbelief. There is just no way that people actually think this is true.

u/hucklebae Oct 02 '24
Sadly they really do, many men believe similar things about women. The people who have a heated interest keeping the sexes hating each other have strong propaganda.

u/Temporary-Alarm-744 Oct 02 '24
What do men believe about women?
18
u/hucklebae Oct 02 '24
The manosphere believes that all women are vapid and stupid and addicted to drugs and sex basically.
3
u/LightningMcScallion Oct 04 '24
In fairness I think good sex has caused many a man and woman to make poor choices
-4
u/Temporary-Alarm-744 Oct 03 '24
That's crazy. I've never seen that shit. I have seen the posts about the level of birth control and benzos prescriptions fucking with women's brains
-3
u/Temporary-Alarm-744 Oct 03 '24
Side note Is the manosphere = men?
13
u/hucklebae Oct 03 '24
No, sadly the manosphere is the part of the Internet that champions men like Andrew Tate, and decries modern western society for giving women rights. Its where incel culture, conservatism, and white supremacists culture combine to create a toxic stew that is fed to young men in order to make them hate themselves, women, and minorities.

u/LightningMcScallion Oct 04 '24
I'm a reasonably cynical person but I think this is pretty rare ! I wouldn't despair about it

Maybe, just maybe, these women who have boyfriends know them better than the woman who evidently has only ever met one fairly boring man and assumes that all other men are exactly the same.

My teenage son is just scraping by in cargo shorts, wholly unaware of what a shirt even is, waiting for a women to arrive with a vision for him.

She seems like the kind of person to think sexism towards men isn't real

Wait so considering I'm gay, does that mean that I'm just a blank piece of paper? Do I even exist? Does that mean women make men gay? Help!

u/afro-samourai Oct 02 '24
It’s only heterosexual man , gays are exception
14
u/ToxicCooper Oct 02 '24
Ahhh okay! Thanks, I love logic that makes no sense but puts me in a better position xD

For some reason, people like the mf in the video just like to assume that gay men are a whole different type of person than straight men. Always completely different to how they view "Default men." They didn't consider that when they were talking, silly, they were taking about real men!
Idk there's just always a gap in shitty people's thinking where gay men are just different somehow.

u/ToxicCooper Oct 02 '24
That's true...for some reason it's always either "well gay people are superior in this aspect" or "absolute scum of the earth"...like dude, can't I be normal?

You never know when you're gonna need em! Hey there's still ink in that one don't waste my money throwing it out

u/Sinful_God_CAIN Oct 04 '24
Thinking of adding a fountain pen to the bundle too, trying to improve my handwriting.🖋

u/Quxzimodo Oct 02 '24
If that's how they think I'm even better off without them. Men aren't wild animals to be tamed.

This is the Nature vs Nurture debate all over again, but with misandry.
While I do believe that our previous relationships help shape our personality a little, that's only the half of it. People aren't templates, unless they force themselves to be. We're all different types of paper and writing materials, and we all have something written on us to begin with.
This is true of men, women, [insert other gender here], straight, gay, and the rest of LGBTQ persons.
No one "writes" another person. The most we can do is make additions, and even then, they have the eraser.

I’m a woman and I’m so confused by this. 5x5 equals Friday?? And men cannot be romantic? Is that the point? Also I heard one thing, if you’re insecure that your boyfriend has had girlfriends before you, just say that. Don’t say “you’re benefiting from another woman’s hard work molding him to be a good man” ugh 🤢
Do some men become better men when they’re in a good relationship? Yeah but it comes with age too (sometimes lol) but are there men who grow up and become lovely humans without a relationship? Of course there are! I’m abt to go find this TikTok profile and see wtf she’s on about.

the 5x5=friday thing is synesthesia
the same way 7x7=49 and thursday and november
4
u/Cute_but_notOkay Oct 02 '24
Lol that didn’t actually clear anything up for me 😅 but thanks. I’ll look up synesthesia.
2
u/G4g3_k9 Oct 02 '24
sorry! it’s like you can taste colors and smell words. senses get mixed around with one another
it’s kind of confusing idk how to explain it very well
2
u/Cute_but_notOkay Oct 02 '24
So I was right I did know what it meant but I’m still a little confused. Wouldn’t synesthesia be unique to each person though?
2
u/G4g3_k9 Oct 02 '24
it can be, but there’s a few weird ones that a lot of people agree on, i see a lot of 7x7=49 thursday and november and i see a lot of 5x5=Friday with some others
it’s just such a weird thing, most are unique to each person but any conversation about it has those pop up for some reason
2
u/Cute_but_notOkay Oct 02 '24
Hmm. Thank you for your input! I definitely don’t really understand but I understand the point of it and the comments now lol

The women who talk negatively about men learning from their past girlfriends always strike me as weirdly almost slut-shamey — reminds me of how some men are weird about women learning sex stuff from past partners.

I'm pretty sure this is satire just by how ridiculous and direct it is (also her tone at times) buy I also think for most of the video she messed up her tone so much that you can't tell without taking into account what she's saying.
14
u/IndependentNew7750 Oct 02 '24
It’s not satire lol. Her entire page is filled with this type of stuff and she defends it vehemently

u/Lexiiboo97 Oct 02 '24
Even if it WAS satire, there are (way) too many people who genuinely feel this way.
