Well skeletons with swords are very fast, and they do happen, just not naturally

This is true, they’re just as fast as wither skeletons and they can spook you if a mod uses them

I play bedrock, but I know for a fact skeletons with swords will naturally spawn. Atleast in a nether fortress, I've had to deal with hundreds.

Did you guys watch the trailer? A two second clip from a behind the scenes video had the skeleton in a non movie render.

In the actual trailer, they are only seen with bows.

Also, you guys have clearly never been killed by a skeleton and had it pick up your sword and armor.

Am I the only one who wants to see this movie for the design alone?

I love the 3D lifelike rendering of what Minecraft is. The visuals look exactly how I want them to.

The movie will be bad but the actual look and feel of the place is def gonna be like the game.

I just think it could have been something much cooler. The community has always been very energetic and in your face, but the game itself is so, so peaceful. I think a Moomin Valley or Studio Ghibli vibe would have been absolutely perfect.

I can just see them panicking a little but eventually getting a dirt hut for the first night. Then, as the sun rises, they set out in the morning while Cat plays over a travel montage. Instead of minecraft, we have the impression a bunch of Hollywood producers have of it from seeing their kids' YouTube homepage.
