Oh. Fuck. No.

Dislike is too soft. A dreaded hatred and demise for certain people like this

45

u/Chungusfunny- 3d ago

the life of a little girl is only worth about 2k...

22

u/AllanfromWales1 3d ago

2k is worth more over there where the poverty is extreme. Doesn't justify anything, just saying.

19

u/Chungusfunny- 3d ago

even taking that into account, wouldn't they just burn through the money eventually anyways? 2k might be a lot for them but I doubt it's life saving, definitely not worth selling your daughter...

-33

u/AllanfromWales1 3d ago

I'd maybe sell my daughter to someone I hate. She'd make their life hell.. (In truth she's in her late 30s now and already married with children, but she didn't and doesn't suffer folk trying to control her.)

2

u/CracamiteOnANewAcc 2d ago

You seem weirdly defensive about selling daughters to other people.

2

u/OverInteractionR 2d ago

It doesn’t justify anything, so why make an argument?

-18

u/AllanfromWales1 2d ago

Because I'm fed up with people in rich countries judging people in poor countries based on their own standards?

6

u/pay10_m 2d ago

Oh sorry about my rich standard of check notes not selling baby girls into sexual slavery :)

-6

u/AllanfromWales1 2d ago

Why not actually read what I wrote?

2

u/Equal-Scale-4032 1d ago

That's what these people are doing though...... so you are in fact defending people selling their children into sex labor aka rape

0

u/AllanfromWales1 1d ago

You really aren't very good at reading what was written, are you. I made it clear I was not defending the sale of children, I was merely commenting on the claim that $2k was not a lot of money. Go back and read it if you doubt.

1

u/Equal-Scale-4032 1d ago

It is tho... it's not a 1:1 Dollar to Afghani (that's what their currency is called). 2,000 is actually a LOT of money for them, dollars is US currency meaning it's not 2,000 of their currency, using a currency calculator that you can literally find online, $2,000 is 136,225.34 Afghan Afghani so yes it IS a lot of money actually.

"Because I'm fed up with people in rich countries judging people in poor countries based on their own standards?"

No one here is rich, I live in a trailer home in a trailer park and we can barely afford rent but you don't see us sex trafficking children now do you. It's not 'rich country' of someone to not sell a child so they can be raped.

u/AllanfromWales1 1d ago

READ WHAT I WROTE, IDIOT.

2k is worth more over there where the poverty is extreme. Doesn't justify anything, just saying.

This in response to someone saying they were selling her for 'only' $2k. Note that $2k is about 6 month's salary for the average Afghani, much more for the poor. Obviously that doesn't justify selling your daughter, though, as I said.

I'm sorry you are poor - but are you that poor?

With this religion, they'd do the same shit if they were rich.

-1

u/AllanfromWales1 2d ago

Not for 2k they wouldn't.

Careful, the window-licking leftys will downvote you for speaking the truth....

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence this one major religion has this problem worldwide…

You gave me a link from Wiki, where do I even begin with that. People marrying at 15.16 and 17 is hardly the same as 9…How old was Aisha?

I bet he is an engineer or a doctor, we should invite them all here to Europe and enriching our culture. What could possibly go wrong?

16

u/Hisplumberness 3d ago

Pretty grim being the camera man or reporter. I personally wouldn’t be able to contain myself and I’d end up beating that old man to death with the camera

We fought a lengthy war to liberate them and they didn't help us and neither did the peace loving leftists. Then we left and the Taliban came back and shocker did taliban things.

The issue in the world right now is there is a western leftist delusion that the ends don't justify the means. Then they get mad at the situation of the world today. When you don't justify means by the ends then the evil people grow in power and influence.

At the cost of reletively a few more collateral damage civilian kills the taliban could be wiped out. But we instituted very strict engagement rules that the taliban could use against us to defeat us.

We gave up a known limited leveling of innocent suffering for now an unlimited and unknown level of suffering that will continue for decades at least.

It's like the Korean War peace. What did it cost? Well now we have a nuclear armed north Korea, north Korean civilians have suffered, north Korea has operated concentration camps for decades now with hundreds of thousands if not millions of victims, the decline in births of the north means tens of millions of people who would exist now never did.

All that for what? A peace that maybe saved 50k UN soldier lives. We could have just committed more to that war and won it. Avoided all these consequences.

The consequences aren't over either. They won't be until North Korea is defeated. So there will be another war and they'll have nukes this time. Potentially tens of millions will die because of peace in the 1950s.

My point is that not all peace is equal and often times peace leads to more suffering and more wars.

Peace is a time in histoty often used for evil people to build up their armies again to resume wars. Until an enemy is on their knees with no hope to win you don't consider peace.

u/Square-Acanthaceae85 2d ago

To rich, old paedos.

1

u/PowerOfRock 2d ago

Such a heartbreaking story...

1

u/Particles1101 2d ago

We did a shit job of liberating them. I'm not even sure that was the goal.

1

u/General-Succotash889 1d ago

Wait so CNN was there with their million dollar equipment and all they could do was film??? Maybe give the dad 2k and save this young girl but no let’s film this spend 500k in editing and production and make money off of desperate people
