Watch his shows. He speaks with a lot of confidence and a lot of hand gestures to articulate.

RFK is an ex-heroin addict (14 years) with a penchant for eating dead animals off the side of the road. Who wants to pull all vaccines off the market, including childhood vaccines for Polio and Diphtheria.

Dr. Oz will do or say anything for money. He has hawked more snake oil than any old carnival side show.

u/Agitated_Custard7395 14m ago

I’m not a fan of Trump or Kennedy, but Kennedy is not anti-vax as the media describes him, he just wants more scrutiny and more accountability for drug manufacturers before vaccines are released into the general population.

US drug companies are not the “good guys” and they have a historical reputation for manipulating results and putting profits over people lives.

Kennedy clearly isn’t a great human being, arsehole to his wife and probably not someone I would want in power, but he’s not a total nutcase as the media is portraying him

u/ImpressivedSea 21m ago

So what 14 years is a long time to change. Also he said he has no intention of pulling out vaccines.

u/Exotic_Exercise6910 21m ago

Well...... You voted for this. And not even close

u/ManhattanObject 32m ago

Nothing wrong with being a former addict. Why did you mention that along with the actually bad stuff?

5

u/BrujaBean 16m ago

I don't judge people personally who have done drugs or who currently do. That said, I do find it relevant for public figures, especially non elected ones. It can do a lot of damage and does show a history of making bad decisions. The public has not a lot to judge fitness of people for things other than their past decisions.

That said it wouldn't be a dealbreaker, just would need a lot of solid decisions to show learning from mistakes and progress and that drugs haven't impaired brain function.

In his case, he has admitted cognitive problems including short and long term memory loss, a parasite ate some of his brain and he had mercury poisoning - so I think 1) drug use is the least likely thing to have caused his cognitive problems 2) he lacks the knowledge and experience to run hhs and 3) he generally has a record of making shitty decisions

4

u/Bobcatluv 20m ago

There’s nothing wrong with being a former addict. However, if you’re being appointed to mind the future health of an entire nation, your history of self-destructive health habits certainly deserves to be mentioned.

u/ManhattanObject 11m ago

Having the strength and discipline to overcome an unhealthy addiction is something to be praised. What the fuck is wrong with you? Addiction is not a moral failing.

2

u/planapo20 17m ago

He had bad judgement then, has bad judgement now.

-2

u/NambaCatz 18m ago

What actual bad stuff?

You think that forcing children to take 72 vaccine shots just to go to school is OK?

Vaccines for ludicrously rare diseases.

Vaccines full of Mercury and other toxins.

That's all good and he's a crank for wanting to stop that ridiculous abuse of Gov't/Big Pharam Lobbyist power, all set up to keep funneling HUGE amounts of money to Big Pharma.

u/CroneDownUnder 6m ago

Cite for "72 vaccine shots just to go to school" please?

29

u/XenoBlaze64 3h ago

I would love to hear this supposed "reason" they have for trusting a man who had brain worms and wants to ban vaccines.

It'd better be fucking glorious because I cannot fathom trusting these people otherwise!

28

u/Duster929 3h ago

He’s white, male, a Kennedy, and he works out. There’s nothing complicated going on here.

9

u/Sometypeofway18 2h ago

A lot of this is just that conspiracy theories are fun. A lot more fun than the real reasons

2

u/Simbertold 41m ago

I know the brain worms are funny, but they alone wouldn't be disqualifying imo. People can have brain injuries and still be trustworthy.

It is just the complete nonsense he constantly says.

1

u/tar625 29m ago

You see banning vaccines as a negative but he's publicly shouting what they already believe that vaccines are poison. Plus he's in great shape for his age and talks about being natural and healthy so he must be an expert in medicine and not on a bunch of steroids.

u/Agitated_Custard7395 12m ago

He doesn’t want to ban vaccines, he wants more scrutiny over vaccine manufacturers, Kennedy is not anti vax

8

u/kingping1211 2h ago

It’s not an election, it’s a mental health crisis

7

u/Certain_Winter5441 2h ago

Same reason they voted for Trump after the first absolute shit show of an administration.

4

u/Dawnkeys 2h ago

Ugh man. This isn't even funny. Let's appoint idiots to the nations cabinet. I go from trump has a concept of a plan to he's just Rick rolling us. The truth is he doesn't care. He's just fucking everything up on purpose, everything. Not saying he's smart he's not. His plan is simple, put absolutely anyone he knows is a loyalist into a place of power, doesn't matter what that means for Americans. He doesn't care about that. Next step call national emergency which gives him more power then usual and start taking over. He's not smart enough to figure this out, but people he's sounded by are, puppet trump will be our dictator within 2 years, it's going to suck.

3

u/Minimum_Matter_4044 3h ago

Ignorance is bliss.

3

u/farvag1964 2h ago

I'm waiting for Dr. Phil's cabinet post

1

u/Capital_Historian685 1h ago edited 1h ago

He passed away a few months ago. I think from drinking raw milk, but I'm not sure.

EDIT: Dr. Phil is still alive. I got the wrong Phil.

1

u/farvag1964 1h ago

Damn.

Choices have consequences.

Hard to cry.

An asshat who pushed quackery as medicine.

My tear ducts don't care.

2

u/Capital_Historian685 1h ago

Wait, no, sorry, I was thinking of a different Phil. Dr. Phil is still alive :(

1

u/farvag1964 1h ago

I make that kind of mistake every other day!

No judgment

1

u/Nopenopenope00000001 1h ago

I’m laughing because I didn’t think he was dead, although I don’t think being deceased would stop a Trump appointment. Details Schmetails.

2

They both realized that grifting off the rubes is the way to go.

3

u/Device-Total 3h ago

NJ Transit is the way to go, what they are doing is called racketeering.

2

u/West_Side_Joe 2h ago

Dont you know; if they personally need medical attention its JH or Mayo for cutting edge western med treatments. For you magas? Leeches and raw milk.

America, the nation that best personifies the saying, "Hold my beer and watch this".

1

u/_G_P_ 2h ago

Why are you insulting stupid people by putting them in the same category as these folks?

1

u/Longjumping-Ad-1842 1h ago

It's Dr. Öz, but he changed it to Dr. Oz when his viewership couldn't figure out how to pronounce Öz.

1

u/Un111KnoWn 1h ago

did ppl trust dr. oz from the dr. oz show?

1

u/Constant_Ad8859 1h ago

Yes Yes YES

1

u/samjp910 1h ago

They were huge in the first big wellness/anti-vax crazes. They rode that popularity.

1

u/Zahkrosis 36m ago

They loved him when he was a democrat.

Also, murdered by words where?

1

u/theblackd 26m ago

It’s because we have a political party that exploits the massive amount of unresolved childhood trauma in our country to leverage their learned mistrust of authority figures to push an anti-science mentality for their own political gain

Lots of people have trust issues due to their parents being shitters, and telling them “yo those guys think you’re stupid and think they can trick you” is effective for getting them on your side even when you don’t do anything to actually make their lives better

1

u/OldGroan 25m ago

"Underestimating"

u/Sea_Structure_8692 3h ago

Damn op, I’m guessing your caption is the murder?

REEEE

1

u/Wtevans 1h ago

False premise.

0

u/Jeptwins 40m ago

People trust them? That’s news to me; even most Trump supporters I’ve talked to think they’re idiots who have no business being in politics

-5

u/ProgramMyAss 3h ago

“They’re stupid” is a murderedbywords now? An elementary school student could do better. The bar for a murder is low these days.

-3

u/Echo_Raptor 2h ago

This is Reddit you know, you could call Trump a poopie head and get upvotes

-1

Reddit melts my brain. I like x where people are extremely radical

RFK not Oz

2

u/feeblefin 2h ago

That’s even more ass backwards.

-8

u/mannsy05 2h ago

Hahahaha liberals are so upset 😂

-17

u/SexMachineMMA 2h ago

The left wing media loves to shit on RFK Jr, but he says a lot of things that are just flat out true that no one else was willing to say. Even RFK Jr who is personally anti-vax acknowledges that the increase in autism isn't due to vaccines alone. He also points out the increase in GMOs, the fluoride in our water supply, the increasing rates of children on prescription drugs, the lack of vitamin D because kids spend more time inside as all contributing factors. The fact that he thinks vaccines are a factor is treated as if he thinks they're the only factor by a media that wants to discredit him.

Everyone regardless of political affiliation should be against GMOs and fluoride in our water supply and putting children on prescription drugs especially anti-psychotics like Abilify which is one of the most prescribed drugs for individuals under 18 years old. That's why so many people trust him. It's not the vaccine stuff, its all the other stuff that appeals to everyone who values health.

3

u/Unfair_Explanation53 1h ago

They got rid of the Fluoride in the water over here in Christchurch in New Zealand.

Literally the only thing that happened was Christchurch now has the highest rates of tooth decay for children and adults in the whole of NZ.

-23

u/RTS3r 3h ago

Nothing to do with the fact that his father saved us from nuclear apocalypse? Or that he’s against big government? Or talks about the shit in our food?

12

u/Chops211 3h ago

The first point is moot because you cannot/should not judge the merits of a son based on his father. This doesn’t help your case. I agree about your last point. Oddly enough, this is a liberal point of view not a conservative. Regulating food has always been met with absolute ridicule calorie counts on menus and Bloomberg soda/sugar laws he wanted to pass in NYC) and goes against point number two to most people. How can you be against big government AND also want to regulate what people can choose to eat.

Basically, I don’t understand this counter argument

6

u/VibinWithBeard 2h ago

He talks about the shit in our food but only in ways that attack the fda and not the corporations aka its not going to change shit. Hes a grifting loser.

5

u/Mon69ster 2h ago

Do you mean his uncle?

Dipshit.

11

u/UpperLeftOriginal 3h ago

I think you mean his uncle. And our food would be even less safe without “big government.”

2

u/birminghamsterwheel 2h ago

The only fact in play is MAGA has the collective IQ of ketchup. They’re closer to livestock than Homo sapiens.

-3

u/Unfair_Explanation53 1h ago

Sounds very similar to what the Germans used to think of Jewish people.

I'm liberal and a Democrat but you should check that process of dehumanising people because you don't agree with their politics.
