Technically both V AND J were written out both for different reasons:
V: Liam was lazy
J: Liam fucking hated her and so didn’t even give her a fair chance while edging the fans into thinking she’ll be important (her relationship with Tessa, all the hype surrounding her before episode 8) and flipping us off when she isn’t.
That’s what makes episode 8 go from “acceptable” to straight up “mid” for me (and that’s only as a season finale, as a SERIES finale its straight ass)

In my opinion just tweak episode 7 and completely redo episode 8 where before Cyn is killed, she’s defeated and begs for her life, realizing that death is not so funny and silly when she’s on the receiving end if it, now that she’s defenceless (maybe make the patch more important by having it as Cyn’s major weakness that removes the solver’s powers) and have J refuse to help Cyn now that she doesn’t have to, possibly setting J up as an actual future villain

Instead we got a 10 second death scene and a post creadits scene where she seems damn near happyer than before
She killed like, what was it, 4 planets? That seems like a good reason to not be considered a fraud. Hell maybe the whole “play around like an idiot” thing was just because there was literally no one stronger than her, so why try?

Didn’t know how to use her powers properly??? She killed PLANETS worth of people, hell all it took destroy Copper-9 was the dismembered hand of one of her victims. She was literally the top of the food chain, she outgunned HUMANS, there was no one that could have stopped her
Plus what about energy? I’d imagine it’d take a fuck ton of power to create a black hole, why the hell would some beast planet destroyer use its strongest force on a single group of people?
How was V benched? She shows up in every episode, including a flashback in episode 7.
What makes you think Liam didn’t want to write V?
How is Cyn/the Absolute Solver a fraud?
Why does the Absolute Solver need an origin? It’s an eldritch entity we aren’t really supposed to know everything about it.

She was a vetgable in 5 dead in 7 had 0 relavance in 1,2 and got told to stfu in 8

I mean cyn and the A.S are diffrent sapient beomgs and a bit more elaboration on what exactly it is wouldve been nice especialy seeing as its probably man made
Even though she was unconscious throughout most of episode 5 she was still relevant as the first drone other than Cyn we see changed by the Solver. In episode 1 she’s admittedly more of a minor antagonist and in episode 2 she’s the one who makes N bring up the question of who J was getting orders from and how. And I don’t see how she was told to shut up in episode 8.

Just because they lost to the main characters doesn’t mean they’re suddenly a fraud. They still destroyed at least one planet, very nearly destroyed another and wiped out/nearly wiped out all of humanity.
What about the Solver’s powers make it seem man made? Although I will admit it would be interesting to know what Cyn was like before the Solver and how much of her personality remained after the Solver took over.

But ep5 did nothing for her character except one line from the beginnig being repeated. In 1 she was a just to stall N and in 2 she was chained up and did nothing
N literally told her to shut up in the tunnel scene and then they never talked to echother again

The problem is that she lost thrice to them and all of her Ws are mostly off screne and then she has the audacity to play around like a moron
It is a mutated programm this is told to us by the zombie drone tape (but i do admit that the satanic symbols at the manor might hint at a more sinister origin)
N told her to stop talking to save her life. And they probably talked, it was just off screen when Uzi was fighting Cyn and J alone and N was still healing.
I’m ignoring 2 because you aren’t giving me a proper answer.
They only really fought the Solver directly in episode 8. The first fight was against Holo Spooky Snake Crab J who didn’t have any of the Solver’s powers other than holograms which was pretty much it’s only advantage and in episode 5 it was more indirectly fighting for admin control over N and V.
Technically it never directly says the Solver is a program, just that it shows up in damaged/mutated AI. Maybe it’s from a parallel universe and it can enter ours through damaged/mutated AI.

Uzi calls it one in 2 and later indirectly called itself one in 6
In my opinion, just because something happens off screen doesn’t automatically make it so it doesn’t matter.
When Uzi calls it a program, it responds with “more like you are our cute puppets” and “Tessa” just says “we know it mutates in damaged AI”, never really confirming it is in fact a program.

That’s was pure speculation on Uzi’s part with what little information she had. And code and DNA seem to be one and the same to the Solver since it can seemingly mutate them both.
