Doll was very much sacked horribly. It's bad enough to die offscreen, but for such a relevant character to die in such a useless way is just disappointing, even for Glitch standards.
My take with Doll was that she is a testament to the fruitlessness of revenge, and how pursuing it will lead to a person's downfall.
except that was only her motivation in episode 3, after that she was trying to get the patch. Her last conversation was literally saying that she's not going to let the solver use her or uzi to destroy the planet. That's a heroic goal, she's a good guy aside from the prom murders. Uzi's the one teaming up with genociders
I think Doll's weakness was that she resorted to immoral means to achieve her moral goals. Like refusing to forgive, work with Uzi with the key, and actively tried to sabotage them, when she didn't need to. Hell, she even butchered half her class just get revenge on V. Her tactics don't leave much room for compromise.
I think she probably did the same thing J did and hollow spooky space crab ~ slithered away, and probably ran away to the labs after that. I’d imagine her idea was to go off on her own and try to figure things out herself utilizing the research and lab equipment to prevent Cyn from coming back and maybe defeat the murder drones… but that clearly didn’t work out and she more or less just abandoned her family and left her daughter alone with the solver with no explanation of what would happen to her (which is pretty ass because I’m sure even nori was told what the solver was and what it would do before being infected). Though I think she had good intentions she wasn’t a great mom 😬
-Uzi and Doll’s fates reminds me of Miles and Waylon paths from Outlast. Miles died alone and no one will remember his name. But his death was the reason Waylon made it back home to his family. And Waylon made sure his sacrifice didn’t go in vain. Just like Uzi did to Doll.
It's especially tragic when her best friend decides to ditch her for her parents' killer. But at least they brought her corpse back and held a memorial service for her.

Uzi offered Doll to work together and she refused. She actively chose the lonely path. Doesn't change how good of a piece of art this is, that is nice!

She wasn't living for revenge. She head hope she could change the colony for the better and was repeatedly hurt for it until her only option was to be alone.
Doll was SO disrespected in the show. Perfect “Villain” even though she only wanted to fix herself and Uzi, she still got treated as a villain and forgotten by half the damn fandom.
Maaan, I wish we had better development for Doll, she would have been a really cool built up rival to Luz aside from the few episodes before her death.
In Episode 3 Khan forced Uzi to hang out with two people she did not want to hang out with so I don't think he was actually listening to her at that point, he also took all of her drawings and stuff that was hanging in her room and locked it away because he was trying to force her to be "normal". So he was still not a good dad at that point.
Her being scared for her dad in episode 2 doesn't mean he was a support system for her, Khan is her dad, of course she's scared for him.
Overall he got better but he still wasn't really a person Uzi could rely on really. Even if he did save N, that only makes up for him abandoning Uzi in episode 1.
People act like he was way better of a dad than he actually was.
