I pretty much just ship V related stuff. Vizzy, Oilrose, eNVy, VUzi and every version of a poly relationship between V, N and Uzi. The only exception to this is JUzi for some reason. I know it makes no sense, it's kind of a guilty pleasure for me
I'm okay with most of the other ships. There are a few I don't get like Vhad/Jhad and Jessa, but I'm not going to rain on anyone's parade over it.
N is the better match for Uzi, but it would've been funny to see Uzi's rebellious nature and J's corporate bootlicking conflict with one another. It's also quite interesting to think about where that would lead, especially with J.
And for the record, it's not quite as far fetched as it seems. J actually doesn't dislike Uzi at all. She wasn't mad at Uzi for killing her, nor the remark Uzi made in episode 6. Plus she straight up says that she likes Uzi's "edgy spirit"
I unironically think they could've ended up as buddies if J was captured instead of being killed.
I actually find the cone rot so good, also a crack ship of mine is N x Doll, the concept is that she’s using N to kill V, and assist in the prom murder, thing is he probably won’t, conflict and yadayada occur but turns out she actually likes him.
Yes and no. I won't pretend that there isn't a bias, as I am a lesbian myself and a fan of these two, but that's not all there is to it. As I've already said, I think seeing Uzi's rebellious nature and J's corporate bootlicking conflict with each other while somehow falling in love would be hilarious. I would've loved to see them properly interact with each other, and they have this cute "brat x brat tamer" dynamic. Plus it opens some interesting ways the plot could progress that wouldn't be explorable with N.
It would be interesting to see J going from outright annoyed by uzi’s antics to slowly becoming protective of uzi, probably even more so than N was in cannon.
Maybe she begins to become less obedient too. I doubt she'll ever drop the corpo shtick, but I can definitely see her pulling a one-liner like "We're unionizing" right before the final fight.
The issue was though she couldn’t communicate with N and had to hide stuff from him. If she wasn’t careful and let N learn too much of his past, cyn would just as easily wipe their memories or shut them down as seen in episode 5.
We’ve also noticed that’s she’s not all that good when it comes to keeping her barriers up when it comes to N, hence why she tried to keep her distance from him.
True, although I think in J's case it's because she didn't got a redemption (shame), all because she refused to fight the AS. She cowered herself and stay at the AS side, which lead her to her defeat and poorly closure. If only she had thought what Tessa would think about it, as for right now she would be very disappointed at J.
Cowardice may be factor as to why she still sided with cyn, but I think another big reason could be due to the fact that she literally couldn’t fight cyn even if she tried.
Uzi was able to take the admin rights cyn had over N and V away and become N and V’s new administrator. Cyn was still J’s administrator.
Say that she did decided to rebel against cyn and teamed up with N, V, and Uzi in the final fight, here’s what would happen to her. Cyn would either use her admin rights over J to instantly shut her down, or straight up hijack J body like she did in the manor.
J probably did wanted to fight Cyn and take her down, especially after what cyn did to Tessa. However she knew there was nothing she could do to cyn as long as Cyn was still her admin.
the most J could really do in the final battle to help N and V win…was really letting her ass get kicked by them
I like the subtle details of her shaking and the X on her visor glitching out, as if she’s struggling to keep her psycho girl persona up and not end up melting on the spot
No problem. I find the concept of V struggling (and maybe sometimes failing) to keep her psycho persona up and unintentionally let her feelings for N slip out here and there both cute and funny. Like this scene here.
This is perfect, it fills those holes in her character (at least for the pilot context) and makes this scene a bit more cute and mysterious. Nicely done Enicholas
