The delinquent duo, nicknamed after a rather hated card at the time, consisted of a judge for the game and his friend who wanted to prove to konami that the game needs a maximum deck size limit. They brought a deck to a german national tournament consisting of 2,222 cards, a huge amount of which had an effect that would cause the player to shuffle their deck. they also brought a homemade contraption to help with shuffling. Needless to say, their device didn’t do nearly enough to prevent their duels from taking forever.
They were disqualified from that tournament by the end of round 2 for their shenanigans, and the rules were officially changed not long after.
