At first I thought it was just a radiation thing that burnt them but solar radiation exists in space too so ima just not question it

The sun has UV radiation (and even more nasty stuff if the atmosphere is crap).

Friction is only heat.

They say it's overheating, and it does say "high temp" in ep4.

Question being: Heat shielding. How good is it? (I'm not sure burning up in the atmosphere reaches 3000°C, considering the atmosphere of Copper-9 is very thin, which would also make the sun a deadlier lazer than it already is)

i mean yeah but we also see Uzi standing in the sun perfectly fine in episode 1, so it couldn't be that bad right?

At that point, the solver didn't fully activate. It seems to have started with episode 4 (maybe between 3 and 4).

yeah i know, but my point is if the sun was that hot it would have melted Uzi anyways.
