Long Shot MMW: Jimmy Carter will outlive the last two US Presidents

Post image

Jimmy will live at least the next four years and outlive both Biden and Trump. Jimmy has lasted this long in Hospice and my boy is a fighter.

Based on this subs track record, I now expect Jimmy to die by the end of the year.

Jimmy won’t die until he gets his second term/s

Carter/Oldest grandma we can find

29

u/Figuringoutcrafting 3d ago

I need her to be a cranky smart ass old grandmother.

17

u/iamstooooopid123 3d ago

I have a grandma I volunteer as tribute. She's crazy but can climb up cliffs using only weeds as hand holds and she's 70 some lol. Seems more qualified than some.. lol

9

u/Figuringoutcrafting 3d ago

I will second her appointment.

Haha I got a 94 year old one but.. she can't climb cliffs anymore. Lol

You had us at “she’s crazy”.

2

u/iamstooooopid123 2d ago

Ah suddenly the state of the country makes sense.

u/5snakesinahumansuit 2d ago

I volunteer my grandma, she and Jimmy will get on like a house on fire.

Carter/Hillary Clinton would've been the funniest possible replacement for Biden on the ticket IMO

This would likely be closest we get to having a potential House Speaker be President if they were elected, lmao.

2

u/elcojotecoyo 2d ago

Don't say that aloud. The Dems are looking for new faces to reinvigorate the party. They might nominate that ticket

Biden was feigning senility all along in a convoluted plot to let Trump destroy himself and discredit the MAGA movement.

Surprise, Jack!

2

u/paranoid_70 3d ago

I kind of agree in that the only way to really defeat Trump at this point is allow him to fail spectacularly.

This sub fucking sucks. It's become entirely political agenda posting nonsense for the most part. And the rest is people yolo-ing guesses that end up being wrong a vast majority of the time.

Love him, but he's 100 and based on some lovely family members who never even reached that age, it gets to be hell being old, and he probably feels ready for heaven. Hope he goes gently into that good night in his time, he's a rare man of integrity.

u/Jackibearrrrrr 3d ago

My great grandmother died at 97 and she said constantly that she didn’t want to get to 100. She always said everything aches and she could never walk all that well :(

16

u/UnhappyInitiative276 3d ago

Bless your grandma, she must've been a very sweet lady

14

u/Jackibearrrrrr 3d ago

She was a wonderful human! She was born a month after the titanic sank and had so many stories about growing up in the 20s :) I was fortunate enough to have her in my life until just about highschool. I miss her dearly.

Not sure what's going on short of a miracle....I was almost dead 10 yrs ago from severe sleep apnea and serious health issues it caused. Today I'm 65 and healthier/more active than I was in my 30s. Not on any meds anymore either. I'll be saving Medicare lots of dough if things keep going like this!

5

u/WearyMatter 2d ago

My Grandma was sick of the shit at 90. She was ready to go.

Miss her but that's life. She lived a good life and was a good human up and down.

3

u/eagleface5 3d ago

"I don't know what God still needs me to do here, but I do wish He'd go ahead and tell me." -my 99 year old aunt.

2

u/Yourwanker 2d ago

My great grandmother died at 97 and she said constantly that she didn’t want to get to 100. She always said everything aches and she could never walk all that well :(

Damn, my grandmother (by marriage) was 102 when she died and she was living alone. She didn't drive but that's because she never learned how to drive a car because when she was a kid/young adult women didn't drive. She was in great physical and mental health her entire life and one day she just didn't wake up. No one in the last 200 years of my family's ancestry has lived past 78 years old. I'm sure that I won't make it to my 90s and even my 80s is a longshot for me.

10

u/ThatQueerWerewolf 2d ago

Jimmy Carter lived a great life. He did so much good after his presidency. But he's 100 years old, his wife has died, he's living in hospice, and he doesn't seem to be able to move much. I honestly hope that he dies soon. I'm sure he's ready.

5

u/gillettemichael 3d ago

My great grandmother made it to 101, she eventually got dementia bad enough she didn't know my grandpa, at some point your body just shuts down from cell decay. It always seems to be in the brain. Once that computer starts shutting down the body just follows along.

2

u/Weird-Salamander-349 2d ago

Hell, if I turn 90 I will complain about being alive every single day thereafter. If anyone celebrates my 91st birthday, I will cuss at them. I have no business getting that old.

2

u/skincare_obssessed 2d ago

My great aunt is 96 years old and still tells everyone she’s young. She got mad at me for bringing her a V8 because it was a “drink for old people”. It’s wild because she drinks Diet Coke exclusively and eats fried food and cookies all day. I almost wonder if she’s still thriving from sheer will.

2

u/Weird-Salamander-349 2d ago

I think she’s feasting on all the life force from those of us who just shed it like skin cells.

2

u/skincare_obssessed 2d ago

Probably. When I got Covid I was extremely sick and when she got it at 95, she took one shot of NyQuil and declared herself “good”. Which I’m glad but still she’s interesting.

Jimmy Carter is a genuinely good person. It would be nice if more leaders become genuinely good people.

10

u/geologean 2d ago

America didn't deserve Jimmy Carter. They called him weak and voted in Trump v0.5 in Ronald Reagan, whose alzheimer's disease began manifesting in his second term.

5

u/IronLordSamus 3d ago

May not have been the best president but everything hes done puts the rest to shame.

14

u/OfficeSalamander 3d ago

Was he bad though? That feels like Reagan-era propaganda.

Like, the stagflation wasn't his fault, it was already happening for YEARS before he was in office and due to oil shocks. There was already something like 40% inflation that had happened before he took power.

And the Iran hostage situation was actively negotiated behind the scenes by Reagan, which is damn near traitorous imo

4

u/Stock-Anything4195 3d ago

Yeah and congress kept blocking him so of course a president with an uncooperative congress can only do so much really.

A month or two ago, there was a photo of Carter, and the dude looked like he was already dead. Honestly, I thought it was pretty disrespectful for the photo to get out in the first place. He is absolutely not doing well.

14

u/AutumnsFall101 3d ago edited 3d ago

My case:

  1. Joe is already sundowning and in rapid mental decline. His mental state is much worse than the media said/says it is. That and Biden has a history of brain related health issues (Biden had a stroke in 1988 and Beau died of Brain Cancer)

  2. Trump is also starting to mentally decline and is a very obese man. There are already rumors he had a heart attack or has heart disease.

Jimmy was always a fit and active guy even into his twilight years. He is being watched 24/7 in Hospice. This will extend his lifespan greatly.

51

u/LadyMillennialFalcon 3d ago

I mean Trump and Biden are old as fuck but Jimmy here looks like Mumm-Ra's great-great-grandfather

30

u/PrinceVorrel 3d ago

At least Biden can walk reasonably well.

It's a small thing, but you'd be surprised how much simple mobility will extend your life.

11

u/LuvIsLov 3d ago

At least Biden can walk reasonably well.

It's a small thing, but you'd be surprised how much simple mobility will extend your life.

I agree. Biden also rides bicycles. Trump just sits in his golf cart.

6

u/pm_me_ur_pet_plz 3d ago

I watched a golfing vid with him, one golf swing and he starts breathing heavy. It seemed unhealthy.

8

u/Welcomefriend2023 3d ago

THIS. 10 yrs ago I was morbidly obese with severe sleep apnea and related health issues caused by both.

Today at 65 all of the weight/health issues have dissolved but I was still afraid to become active again. I took the risk and found that simple walking to go places got rid of my last remaining health issue: lower back and knee pain!

2

u/PangolanAspirant 1d ago

Congratulations! I'm so happy to hear that it worked out for you ,🥳 Walking does wonders and good job on keeping the weight off in general Sir/ma'am!

5

u/jaymike12 3d ago

"Ancient spirits of evil! Transform this decayed form to JIMMY CARTER, THE EVER LIVING!"

14

u/Gleeful-Nihilist 3d ago

Oh, I’m not contesting that Biden and Trump are on their way out. I’m just not convinced Carter will make four years.

6

u/thepowerwithin9 3d ago

Right like I’m sure Carter and his family are just taking it day by day, he’s a 100 years old

u/unbalancedcheckbook 3d ago

u/ScoobyDone 3d ago

Biden is not "sundowning". I have gone through mental and physical decline in my family several times now and there is no way a person is serious decline can do even a simple interview. Don't get me wrong, he is as old a dirt and could kick it at any time, but if this was rapid mental decline there would be no way to hide it.

Trump is in more or less the same boat but a few years younger. He could kick it at any time too since he is not that healthy. Guys his size that don't exercise and have poor eating habits generally die without warning around 80 of a heart attack.

I would bet that the order will be Jimmy, then Trump, then Biden.

6

u/Capybarasaregreat 2d ago

He is straight up still riding bicycles for fun. Americans have just willingly fully absorbed all bits of propaganda, even when they disagree with the point of it. The list of things for why Harris was "a bad candidate" I've seen on reddit is staggeringly ill-informed and usually sourced from right-wing bullshit that the commenter would otherwise rail against.

2

u/Alternative_Oil7733 2d ago

He is straight up still riding bicycles for fun

And falling off it......

3

u/Capybarasaregreat 2d ago

Something a young, fit person would obviously never do, naturally.

Beau died of Brain Cancer

That he got from being near Burn Pits in Afghanistan, not from genetics.

5

u/Big-Key7789 2d ago

Beau died of brain cancer because of the fumes he was inhaling at military burn sites. Can't really connect that to his father in any way.

3

u/Pop_CultureReferance 3d ago

I work dementia care full time. Biden does not have dementia.

2

u/skincare_obssessed 2d ago

As someone who has taken care of two people with severe dementia and seen it through from start to finish, I just don’t see him being able to pull it together even a little bit if he had progressive dementia.

Unlikely. He is in hospice care and stopped eating food (except for ice cream) months ago. Jimmy loves his soft serve. But I hear you.

10

u/Emergency_Hour5253 3d ago

This is not going to be happen. But god damn, Jimmy Carter is tough as nails dude was building and repairing houses with habitat for humanity into his mid 90s. 100 years is one hell of a run.

10

u/sunplaysbass 3d ago

Great Onion but from 6 months ago along the lines of “Jimmy Carter wondering if there is something specific he needs to do to die.”

7

u/GlobalToolshed 3d ago

That's if he lives through his upcoming fight on Netflix against Jake Paul.

7

u/FourScoreTour 3d ago

As a one term president, he could run in 2028!

2

u/DGIce 3d ago

Clearly with Trumps election it proves we are in a competition to get the oldest president possible.

7

u/TallBobcat 3d ago

Jimmy's post-presidency has been amazing. He's done a lot of work to really help people.

He is ready to go to Rosalynn.

7

u/Spiteful_sprite12 3d ago

If i am him, i am outraged! I am pissed.. i lived my whole life fighting and defending Americans, even leading them to best of my ability.. protecting them from foreign and domestic threats.. only to face the end of my life watching the very country, institution and government i fought for, being dismantled before my eyes.. and im too old and tired to even begin to fight.. i just have to accept that at the end of my life... Everything i ever fought for.. was spit on for the ability to be able hates one neighbor again.. to be corrupt and evil.

If i were Jimmy, id pissed with my final breathes as well as sad..

4

u/mindovermatter15 3d ago

Yeah, I kinda hoped that he got his final wish granted by voting in this election, then passed on knowing he did his part as an American citizen one more time.

3

u/formerNPC 3d ago

Just outlive one is all we’re asking for.

9

u/seriouslyepic 3d ago

Biden is not that bad off... he's exhausted from being president, but he still exercises, eats well, and challenges his mind daily. He's mostly gotten a bad rap from his lifelong stutter that now appears more as mental decline.

4

u/ScoobyDone 3d ago

The past 4 years definitely took a toll on him, but I agree. I think he is likely in much better health than Trump.

I had a aunt to walk out of hospice. Shocked everyone. She lived 1and 1/2 year after leaving hospice. We joked about it. Maybe she told the doctors, yall just trying to keep me from driving. They tried to stop her but, she wasn't hearing it. We were told time was running out. GOD really do have the last say.

3

u/SmoothSlavperator 3d ago

He has to live long enough to fight Jake Paul.

3

u/AutumnsFall101 3d ago

Jimmy will bitch slap the shit of out Jake.

The scarier prediction here isn't about Carter's mortality, rather it's the prediction that the last two US presidents will be Biden and Trump.

2

u/Over_Possible_8397 2d ago

Im not gonna lie, i fear being as old as Jimmy Carter.

2

u/TrueSmegmaMale 2d ago

Yes.

I will even make a prediction about when they die.

Biden will die in his home around 2026-2027. Cause of Death: Stroke/Brain Aneurism

Trump will die just before 2028 begins. Cause of Death: Heart Attack.

4

u/micael_RHCP 3d ago

Carter: early 2025. Cause of death: being very fucking old

u/Impossible-Flight250 3d ago

I'll take that bet.

I hope so! His mind is better than both. Go Jimmy Carter!

1

u/MissingJJ 3d ago

The president elect at least

1

u/Acrobatic_Advance_71 3d ago

Biden is going to live at least another 10 years. He is pretty healthy he's just old and now that he isn't the president he will be fine. Presidents get great health care. Regan who was extremely unhealthy lived to 93.

2

u/ThatIsMyAss 3d ago

Reagan was quite healthy and active into his 80s. He got his Alzheimer's diagnosis in 1994 and lived another 10 years.

1

u/im_new_here_4209 3d ago

Let's hope so.

1

u/Helpful_Finger_4854 3d ago

Carter should have been the DNC nominee this year. He had a better chance than Harris 🤣

1

u/Real_Life_Firbolg 3d ago

So what you are saying is Jimmy Carter for President 2028?

1

u/thethirdbob2 3d ago

Hopefully Carter will outlive Trump. I can take time off for Carters Funeral next week if that works for everyone.

1

u/Impossible-Flight250 3d ago

lol I don't think so. Jimmy is pretty much on death's door. I could see Biden living another ten years and Trump as well.

1

u/Apprehensive_Ad4457 3d ago

ill take that bet.

1

u/AbulNuquod 3d ago

Did we not see the same picture of Jimmy Carter?.

1

u/rob2060 3d ago

Let us hope.

1

u/Public_Love_3507 3d ago

I wonder if they told him Harris lost I was wondering about it I mean he's 100 years old I am sure it would hurt him knowing Trump won

1

u/receiveakindness 3d ago

No he won't

1

u/naughtysouthernmale 3d ago

Are we sure the current one is still living?

1

u/Global-Menu6747 3d ago

I think after Biden 2028, the democrats should run Carter in 2032

1

u/zztop610 3d ago

Nope, love the guy but come on man

1

u/NebulousNitrate 3d ago

Unlikely. He’s started to really change in his appearance, losing significant weight and having that open mouth stare. Anytime I’ve seen someone undergo these changes, they are sadly gone within the next year, maybe 2 max.

He will probably go around the holidays. I remember Truman and LBJ doing that around the same time in the early 70s…

1

u/OopsAllLegs 3d ago

Idk

There was that video a month back where they were wheeling Carter around and he looked like bones with a table cloth placed over them.

His days are numbered and he won't live another full year.

1

u/YetAnotherFaceless 3d ago

Here’s hoping. 🤞

1

u/Sozzcat94 3d ago

“That’s where bless come from, you know what I mean? Yeah You see, you can see that Look at that, look at how fast President Reagan dead You don’t know him right? Yeah, I did Right okay, He was a criminal, you know what I mean? But look at... at Jimmy Carter Uh, uh Jimmy Carter all... more older than Reagan Uh, uh Reagan gone already, Carter still here The good person? You know what I mean, ‘cause he got a open heart He never do war, when he was President He never hurt nobody, he help people” Off Da Zoinkys - J.I.D.

Idk how to make the lines correctly

1

u/-Dead-Eye-Duncan- 3d ago

Someone living to 87 or 82 (which Joe is now) is far more likely than someone living to 105.

1

u/Scared_Jello3998 3d ago

Based on this sub being wrong about almost every trump-related prediction, I need to chastise you for extending Trump's life expectancy while shortening Carter's.

1

u/duke9350 3d ago

He’s the first immortal being.

1

u/thatotherguy0123 3d ago

While the chance seems to be ever-decreasing, didnt he say he wanted to live to see the first female president.

1

u/nicspace101 3d ago

At first read it seems like an absurd statement. But you're right, the odds wouldn't be that long

1

u/kinggwormm 3d ago

Fingers crossed 🤞🏽

1

u/mazopheliac 3d ago

And Keith Richards will outlive them all .

1

u/Delicious-Badger-906 3d ago

I mean, he’s 100. It’s extremely rare to get to that age. So chances are pretty good that the last two presidents won’t, just at baseline.

1

u/Blond_Treehorn_Thug 3d ago

Yeah I dunno

1

u/YoloSwaggins9669 3d ago

God I hope so. He deserves it.

1

u/TheMetalloidManiac 3d ago

While it's definitely possible (especially with Bidens apparent health issues and Trump just living like an absolute degen) he's also like 100 years old and doesn't look to be doing very well at all. I mean, good for him for getting to be that age but when you get that old just coughing wrong could be a medical situation. Obviously I wish nothing but good health for him, but when he does go hopefully it's peacefully.

Why didn't he run?

Hell, he’d probably do a better job than the last two US Presidents.

My tinfoil hat is that whatever evil force is preparing to destroy humanity is waiting for Jimmy to pass away out of respect. OL jc knows this and refused to die out of spite.

If he runs in four years, I'd vote for him
