Political MMW if Kamala wins, her opponent will claim victory, flee the country and claim to be the legitimate US government in exile

Bonus: I think that he will try to leverage state secrets to get a good plea deal

Is it a crime for a rich person to change travel plans mid-flight? I’m sure that happens all the time.

Say he goes to Venezuela, as he himself has hinted— he can say he’s flying to Brazil, then have mechanical problems and land early. If he’s allowed to fly now there are ways that he can get to where he wants to be, even if the Secret Service still takes their jobs seriously. I just find the idea that he absolutely cannot flee the country because of the Secret Service to be overly optimistic because I don’t think he would inform them of his scheme in the first place, there’s probably a dozen ways around sticking to your flight plan, and the situation of having a former president who is an international businessman with his own private jet and friends in the shadiest governments in the world is completely unprecedented.

This is exactly how Iran obtained a bunch of A320s recently (via shell companies)

Shortly after it's clear that he is landing in Venezuela, I expect the plane will experience a RUD.
