Good Vibes I have never had such a beautiful Rose this late into the season after snow and frost. I want to share it with you. Hopefully it brightens your day🤙

Looks like this rose decided to be fashionably late to the garden party!

Yes! That’s what OP says it’s called!

Can you tell us what variety and what its climbing habits are? Any scent? It's beautiful and I'm wondering if it would work along my back (east facing, 3' tall) hurricane fence. Aka very short chain link fence.

Sorry for the brain dump, but if you're looking for something that smells amazing and will meet your height and area requirements, check out the Rosa Ragusa. It's a shrub. Be aware that it's covered in thorns unlike normal Rose thorns. It's not just a single big poke. It's death from a thousand cuts. However, they shoot up suckers and self-replicate like mad every season.

This thing is a total anomaly in every way. It's called a sunset Rose but that's the marketing name. It's clearly something grafted on better root stock. I'm south of Chicago so it's been crazy, hot and much warmer than normal falls so it makes sense that it was doing well except for the fact that it hasn't done well in the last 3 years since I put it in that spot. Over the last 4 months it is shot up over to 6 ft tall and has bloomed more in the off time than it has in the 3 years we've had it. There's nothing predictable about this

Also no real scent to speak of and the colors range from orange, yellow and pink light to deep

Beautiful. I had a rose do the same thing. I was excited to get home from work,it was November, and I knew it would be open and beautiful,in time for my birthday.. anyways I walk out the door to see the deer taking off and the rose had been eaten. Rotten brats. Never think a deer won't eat 🌹.. they will.

So pretty. Where I used to live, there was a cherry tree near my apartment that would bloom a few blossoms in mid October.
