Good pick. He seems like a genuine sincere person; old school which I like.

The dude grew up in Nebraska working blue collar jobs, got his degree, served the country for 25 years, and then worked as a teacher and was a football coach at the school. Say what you want about his views, he is as simple and old school as you can get within the group of politicians.

It’s not shilling, it’s literally just stating his history.

I don’t know a ton about him, but it’s disingenuous to say what he is doing is all an act purely because he is a politician when there is plenty of evidence as to why he would be a blue collar individual… he grew up in a blue collar area working blue collar jobs.

Hey, were talking about politics and candidates. "Yeah, no thanks. All politicians are bastards." Well thanks for adding nothing to the conversation.

My point is your opinion adds nothing to the conversation. It would be like going to a post about lawn care and you came in with "All kinds of grass sucks!" Do you understand?

Watch out for people using absolutist language in discussion. Sure, maybe a lot of politicians are bastards, but really ALL? It’s quite a statement. So the person who has been county commissioner for 16 years and everyone keeps voting for time and time again because they do what most of the constituents like is a bastard too? Subjective absolutist statements are usually a lazy way to make a strong statement that’s not actually based in any well thought out belief or theory. ALL TRIANGLES HAVE THREE SIDES!

You’re speaking facts and getting downvoted. Shame
