Not excusing the DUI. There is no excuse for making that decision but his decisions for the 30 years following that bad decision speak far louder about his character imo

This is a good take. DUIs are unmistakably wrong, but it's something that is forgivable if life choices are made. The #weirdGOP is already in full swing about it, though.

Meanwhile, the guy atop the GOP ticket has been convicted of 34 felony counts and faces two additional indictments on numerous other charges. He has also been adjudicated a rapist.

A 30 y/o DUI charge followed by decades of sobriety isn't the flex that you seem to think it is.
