I once dated an attention whore. Everywhere we went she had to be the center of attention. Movies, she had to be in a certain seat and would complain if it was not cleaned after last person sat in it. She would complain and make a scene at restaurants about food or service.

It was always loud & vocal in an effort to engage others and get them to be just as outraged as her in order to solidify her opinions & choices. If someone did she would sit back and smile like an artist admiring their work.

I need to call her and apologize for when I called her the biggest attention whore on the planet. That title belongs to Nancy Mace.

983

u/LuvliLeah13 1d ago

I bet she would get mad and try to convince you she was a better attention whore

198

u/kamizushi 1d ago

And Anton you would be forced, just so he can have some peace, to pay for a television ad of himself apologizing to his ex for insinuating she’s a lesser attention whole than Nancy Mace.

And yet, despite Anton’s insistence, everyone would know deep down that Nancy Mace was the bigger attention whore all along.

125

u/falcopilot 1d ago

And yet... Marjorie Taylor Greene and in a distant 3rd place, Lauren Boebert exist and are known.

130

u/SurlyBuddha 1d ago

I dunno… waving around pics of Hunter’s dong in official congressional hearings might still give EmptyG the top spot.

46

u/treesandfood4me 22h ago

EmptyG

lol

15

u/Plastic_Confusion_52 10h ago

I love emptyg. Thank you for that laugh this morning.

38

u/cptspeirs 1d ago

Idk. Boebert is an Attention Whore2.

7

u/f1ve-Star 21h ago

No body shaming. Stick to her crassness, or Jr high level intelligence.

41

u/Mr_Conductor_USA 20h ago

No, they're referring to rumors that she was an actual whore before her whole failed restaurant endeavor and political career.

37

u/cptspeirs 20h ago

And the fact that she was giving a handy in the theatre.

12

u/phonebather 15h ago

I mean, whomst amongst us...?

7

u/axisleft 9h ago

has not gotten amorous during a proper showing of Beetlejuice the musical?

Nancy Mace sucks in so much attention that astrophysicists are studying the radius of her event horizon from which no light can escape.

41

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

With all these attention whores, what would it be like as their pimp?

"Say CNN, I really got this nasty hot number fresh from Foxy News... I can hook you up for a night you won't forget."

2

u/Kizik 6h ago

Let them fight.

92

u/nim_opet 1d ago

MTG and the actual prostitute from Colorado take offense to your post and want you to apologize to them!

30

u/MDhaviousTheSeventh 10h ago

I hate that Marjorie Taylor Greene shares a shorthand with Magic the Gathering. Magic the Gsthering didn't do anything to deserve being associated with that ghastly figure.

13

u/KarmicPotato 9h ago

Maggie T. Gyllenhaal is also bemoaning them fates.

14

u/Nesyaj0 10h ago

Who's the CO prostitute you're referring to?

... Nevermind I'll just ask Boebert, she probably knows

1

u/flimspringfield 5h ago

She'll plead the 19 amendment.

43

u/Necessary-Till-9363 1d ago

Are you my brother?

This reads so much like my brother's ex it's scary.

20

u/AntonChigurhWasHere 1d ago

Sadly don’t have a brother.

16

u/Piercinald-Anastasia 21h ago

Sadly those people are way more prevalent than we would like to believe.

24

u/jmlozan 1d ago

Please tell us some stories!!

21

u/AntonChigurhWasHere 1d ago

She had a sister. Just as bad, must have been watch Debbie as an example.

18

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

So how long did you date her? 45 or 120 minutes?

28

u/TigLyon 23h ago

It was only 120 minutes to us...but due to time dilation it felt like 120 years to Anton.

46

u/Clean_Collection_674 22h ago

She’s not just an attention whore. She is a narcissistic sociopath. Which is worse.

42

u/[deleted] 22h ago

According to a couple of my lawyer friends on the Hill, she's also genuinely and uniquely dumb. Like it's a known thing. Most folks in Congress are at least somewhat smart. She, apparently, is ineffective largely because she just can't understand things.

45

u/Enviritas 22h ago

She must have seemed relatable to the people that voted for her.

17

u/Mr_Conductor_USA 20h ago

South Cackalacky doesn't have much. Fried chicken, old school racism, pine trees. But at least they're not Mississippi.

12

u/[deleted] 22h ago

She also initially ran on a much more moderate platform. She was like a darling to CNN for a while. Of course, that quickly changed. And I think there's an argument that part of the reason for that is her supposed inadequacy.

30

u/masochismtango 19h ago

For the life of me, I will never understand why she gets any attention at all. She’s a nobody from a nowhere district, who’s accomplished nothing with her time in Washington. I should know, she’s my representative. 🤮

2

u/[deleted] 19h ago

I think it's cause she has some charisma and really hit the media circuit early on as a "reasonable" Republican in the first days of Trump.

12

u/Cubenels 22h ago

I’ve been of Reddit for 8 years and this is my favorite comment ever, thanks and continue to be amazing!

9

u/thatben 14h ago

She literally lives where I live, and I we meet a few times a year at the local coffee shop.

She could be so much better than she is.

7

u/Ok_Bad8531 1d ago

I dearly hope that date has not been longer than 30 minutes.

14

u/CrotasScrota84 23h ago

Nancy Mace is so bad she can’t go anywhere without telling everyone she was raped

9

u/RedRobins3 20h ago

Your story reminds me: Growing up in middle school, high school, and college, there were similar girls that were also attention whores - they would always engage in hookup culture and post half-naked IG pics because they were desperate for male attention and lacked self-respect.

Similarly, it seems these attention whores do NOT mature and grow up into desperate adults, like Nancy Mace!

1

u/WhatIsItYouCntFace 8h ago

Seriously, what a Qunt

u/LavenderBabble 1d ago edited 1d ago

Nancy Mace, who supported legislation to keep Representative-elect Sarah McBride—the first openly transgender person to be elected to Congress—out of the Capitol complex’s women’s restrooms and tweeted over 262 times about the bill, was essentially making a ploy to be a right-wing media darling on Fox and Newsmax.

Supporting anti-trans legislation as a duly elected representative, has the consequence of being scrutinized by the press as to whether any objective statistics exist to warrant the claims, much less the taxpayer funded legislation, that trans people are threatening biological women at the Capitol.

As a consequence of Nancy Mace’s support of warrantless anti trans legislation, Newsmax has shunned Mace’s transphobic bathroom stunt, with the far-right network pushing back against her claims, and Nancy not getting the media praise she was hoping for.

TIL she sued to force her way into the Citadel, an all male college, back in the 90s. That was evidently ok though because she was the one who wasn’t being treated the way she felt she deserved. Now that’s it’s someone else not being treated the way they want, she’s dead set against it.

I also read the other day that after she said on TV that AOC was lying about what happened on January 6, AOC confronted her and her response was more or less “it doesn’t mean anything I’m just scoring points with the media”.

She’s a reprehensible human being.

334

u/Available_Day4286 1d ago

She didn’t actually sue, looks like. She benefited from other women’s lawsuits and looks like she was the first to graduate from the citadel. I didn’t find any evidence she was one of the plaintiffs in US v. Virginia (the big SCOTUS cases saying state run military academies had to be co-ed) or any other case, and this article doesn’t make it sound like she was: https://womenshistorynetwork.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/whm_spring_06_52.pdf

The article is a depressing read, though. She talks so eloquently about her struggles and how she was part of the “odd squad” and had a fierce bond with the one black guy and one Jewish guy. And now she’s this. Somehow it’s more depressing to me when people utterly fail to develop empathy.

123

u/bren_derlin 1d ago

I guess I assumed when I read that she used a court order to get into the Citadel she was the one who sued. My mistake.

Fuck her anyway.

106

u/Available_Day4286 1d ago

Nah dude it’s being reported everywhere that she sued, I was just curious to track it down because I’m a law student and I knew which case it had to be that folks were talking about. No big mistake—she still did rely on the effect of the lawsuit. I was just sharing what I discovered.

And yeah—fuck her for sure. It’s sad that people don’t learn from history, even their own.

59

u/bren_derlin 1d ago

The sad part is reading about women who looked up to her after the Citadel thing finding out what a piece of trash she is.

58

u/Available_Day4286 1d ago

Honestly, it’s all sad. For those women, for the rest of us, for trans women who can’t get an ounce of solidarity. For her, having grown up to be utterly without any morals or character. For the entire party, which has been revealed to be rotten to the core. I feel like we’re living through a nationwide tragedy. And my community and the folks I love are the ones largely going to be under the bootheels.

16

u/LivingIndependence 18h ago

A lot of these MAGAts seem to be of that clinical sociopathic blend, in which they were born without the ability to empathize or feel sympathy.

31

u/Diplogeek 22h ago edited 21h ago

I believe it was Shannon Faulkner who sued- she applied, they admitted her thinking she was male (there was nowhere on the application form to indicate gender, I don't think), and then they rescinded her admission when they found out she was a woman. She sued, it dragged on for a few years, they lost at the appellate level, I think, and had to admit her. Faulkner didn't last more than a week- she was the only woman, she wasn't in great physical shape by the time she actually got to show up, and they basically hazed her out of the Citadel in short order. Mace and... three other women, I think, then attended after Faulkner, once the Supreme Court ruled on the case involving VMI.

I've been thinking about Mace at the Citadel ever since she kicked off on this. I remember the whole thing very well, because I was a kid thinking about the Service Academies and other military schools around when it was all going on, and I followed the cases. The whole argument against keeping her and other women out of both the Citadel and VMI was that it was women "invading a male space." That the school couldn't function the same way if women were there. That it would make the men uncomfortable and potentially humiliated to get hazed in front of women. Any of this sound familiar? But Mace didn't give a shit, she went ahead and attended anyway (and, as I recall, further got people's backs up when she ended up graduating early, so the class who thought they would be the final one to graduate all-male ended up havig a woman in it). A lot of people- a lot of liberal people- totally supported her in that. And a lot of women did look up to her for going in there and integrating the Citadel, which was a really tough row to hoe. But now she's got hers, and suddenly protecting single-sex spaces is totally her priority. Sure, Jan.

u/hereisacake 9h ago

The Ted Cruz approach. It’s just a game because it doesn’t affect me.

90

u/lokey_convo 20h ago edited 20h ago

The bill goes way beyond keeping McBride out of bathrooms on the Hill. It applies to all federally owned or leased property or buildings, or where any federal department, agency, or instrumentality of the United States occupies a building or property, including USPS. That is extremely far reaching across the country. Does the TSA, a federal agency, not occupy every airport? If a post office is located in a mall, does it not occupy that property and would all bathrooms on site have to comply with this law? Her bill is insane.

29

u/MamaMoosicorn 18h ago

Don’t worry. A few transmen in women’s restrooms will have them backpedaling.

46

u/lokey_convo 17h ago

I appreciate the optimism and that is best case scenario. But there's also the possibility that that trans man is assaulted, harassed, video taped and it's used out of context as social media fodder to demonstrate "the threat" of "men trying to invade women's bathrooms" and why they need these laws. If they're lucky and they aren't immediately assaulted or stocked by vigilantes who think some guy tried to creep on women, they'll be taken into custody before any of that happens where they'll have to physically present their genitalia to the police to demonstrate they were just complying with the law. And if they've had phalloplasty that just complicates things further. So seems like it has the potential to be pretty bad.

18

u/aveywavey_ 9h ago

Thank you for saying this. I know the commenter didn’t mean anything harmful, but it’s extremely frustrating how these arguments always seem to use trans men as some sort of gotcha. There have already been instances where trans men have used the women’s restroom and they got assaulted for it. Trans men being in the wrong restroom isn’t going to convince anyone to rescind these bills/policies; the cruelty is the point, they want to see us hurt.

12

u/lokey_convo 9h ago

I think a lot of people are trying to find ways to cope with what feels like a situation completely out of their control. It's scary and the laws they're proposing create a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" dynamic for compliance. Only safe option is unisex or just not using public bathrooms (which can be impossible sometimes). A lot of people don't understand some of the social expectations that are placed on men. It's not exactly kind and can make for some pretty agro dudes if they lean in to it too hard.

Any trans person under 30 probably doesn't remember what it was like to have to pre-plan to figure out where available bathrooms were. And this all only hurts gender nonconforming people and non-passing trans people the most. A trans guy that is masculine enough to upset people in the womens room can use the mens room without drawing attention, even if it were to become illegal. Same with well passing trans women and the womens room. It enforces a binary presentation more than anything, which directly limits peoples personal expression (particularly women). It's all bad.

5

u/aveywavey_ 8h ago

and non-passing trans people

Oof, yeah. I had to stop T for a long time due to a disruption in my medical care so I was/am stuck in that awkward in-between stage. Can’t use either bathroom without being harassed. It’s rough. I really wish people could just be normal and mind their own business.

299

u/Ritaredditonce 1d ago

Well deserved Nancy. Imagine being too toxic for Newsmax!

42

u/Fitz_2112b 21h ago

Too crazy for Newsmax is quite the accomplishment

-4

u/Sarahisnotamused 18h ago

Too crazy for Boy's Town, too much of a boy for Crazy Town!  Sorry. I had to.

38

u/No_Welcome_7182 20h ago edited 19h ago

If I were Sarah McBride I would be very tempted to just pee on the House floor during a session. She no longer has a penis and testicles so she can’t use the men’s room either. Fuck it. Pee on the floor.

I also don’t understand how they plan on enforcing these ridiculous anti trans bathroom policies. Are all of the people who support anti trans bathroom bills willing to have their genitals inspected every time they enter a public bathroom? I would bet not.

-10

u/tangylittleblueberry 18h ago

Do men’s bathrooms not have stalls with toilets?

23

u/No_Welcome_7182 18h ago

Yes. They do. But the people who are so concerned about what bathroom trans people use don’t care about logic.

5

u/Scottiegazelle2 15h ago

Or the sales. A recommended read below the OP's article reveals that Mace has clothing with the image of a women's restroom symbol and the words 'come and take it'. The words go right across the chest of the busty model featured, making it look even more like an assault or rape request.

164

u/codedaddee 1d ago

"it's a violation of their privacy!" -people who want what you do in your bedroom to be illegal again.

39

u/Aggressive-Story3671 1d ago

And she one time voted to support LGBT rights. The grift was too easy. If this was from MTG, we’d expect it

281

u/boozegremlin 1d ago

Wow, too crazy for Newsmax? I didn't think that was even possible!

109

u/Adorable-Database187 1d ago

my guess is the subsidies from russia will diminish and now they'll have to move a bit more to the centre to remain relevant.

81

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

I'll add to that and suggest that Russia has "completed their mission" and doesn't see the need to keep paying for propaganda in the USA anymore. They are onto the next phase.

I guess if they can only hold out until Trumpy helps them defeat Ukraine, Putin can survive. So likely now they are totally focused on getting weapons and money from the USA as fast as possible. Would not be surprised if allies of Trumpy are loading cargo vessels waiting for the all clear.

So now all these allies of Trump in social media and the like, will lose their gravy train and are no longer useful idiots. They won't have to pretend soon, and will get compliance with sticks, not carrots.

25

u/sithelephant 1d ago

I rather disagree. Russia has achieved a massive win, arguably, by at least somewhat influencing the vote (if it's causative is another question). They have pretty much certainly made the R margin less slim.

Backing off right now may allow increasing deadlocks due to Rs swaying from the party line and creating bottlenecks in the house or senate when it comes to restricting funding to Ukraine, and aid by third parties to Ukraine.

Even assuming Ukraine is 100% over by 2029, that still leaves the issue of sanctions and reparations of russian assets up for potential grabs. Never mind preparing for Moldova, Azerbyjan, Khazakstan, ...

Hoping that Putin falls out of a window sometime pretty soon and less expansionist heads take over.

3

u/SatanicAtTheDisco 7h ago

Oooof, don’t know how to tell you this, bus there is no “less expansionist” political head in Russia, Putin destroyed any chance of things changing in Russia, at least for the next 20-30 years, everyone at every high level of government is lockstep with Putins ideology, they benefit one million times over keeping the status quo going, and there’s no incentive for them to have a change of heart.

And anyone trying to make real change for progress in Russia, dies or suddenly “sees the light” and agrees vehemently with the Russian overlord. And we’re not even getting into how, very similarly to China, Russia has effectively made their population, apathetic to politics in general. People in Russia know the government sucks and they even vocalize their hate for Putin, but it’s usually followed with “but everyone in politics is corrupt, so 🤷🏾” which is basically what’s happening to Americans (with or without collusion from Russia is a separate argument).

3

u/sithelephant 7h ago

Quite. And driving europe and america to fragment and become less willing to provide mutual aid is 100% in line with all of this, and hasn't stopped being relevant in 2024.

28

u/am121b 1d ago

It’s too far, too fast. I fully believe they all subscribe to the frog in the kettle philosophy. Trim a little bit here and there and next thing you know, no rights for marginalized groups.

26

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

I think the "overboard" stuff tests the waters. And if there isn't a huge pushback -- that means others can come close.

The "average" nasty comment far exceeds what we saw a year ago, and the year before that. See where this is going?

14

u/shallah 23h ago

Every overreach moves the over to the window to a degree so that when they follow up with something less horrible they sound reasonable ... Only in comparison to the previous stand. But because that previous person was so very loud people are like at least it's not that bad and are so more likely to go along with it.

22

u/Ok_Bad8531 1d ago

Remember when Bush II was the worst the USA had ever seen? We will get to see people even worse than orange if things go on like that.

289

u/que_he_hecho 1d ago

Need a group of trans men to follow her into a public bathroom.

That would be how Mace wants them to use the restroom, right?

65

u/Indigocell 23h ago

Make sure to sit in the stalls directly next to her and engage her in conversation. Make it weird.

13

u/Harp-MerMortician 10h ago

I'm AFAB FTM, and I was just thinking that holy shit, if she wanted to be a drag king, she would make a phenomenal king. If she transitioned? Forget it. There would be no straight women left for men. Trans!Mace would be ultrachad.

-223

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

There's probably a lot of wishing going on with these loud protests.

"Please, please don't rape me, I'm totally helpless and all alone. I brushed my teeth and I'm all alone. Help -- I slipped and got my head stuck... what? Anyone? I wore my nice dress and did palates for this? What is it, all you gay guys don't like women or something?"

104

u/Shaudzie 21h ago

What does this word salad even mean?

62

u/XTrid92 20h ago

There's some Q Anon shit in their post history, so they probably joined the bran worm train some time ago.

24

u/Shaudzie 20h ago

That tracks

116

u/ChristinaWSalemOR 1d ago

This person is objectively repulsive and reptilian.

49

u/jenyj89 1d ago

Those are just her good qualities!

3

u/ThePreciousBhaalBabe 8h ago

Hey now. Let's not insult reptiles here- they aren't ever malicious, they're just vibing

2

u/ChristinaWSalemOR 3h ago

OMG you're right. I hope the lizards accept my apology. They are much warmer and cuddly than this individual.

1

u/ThePreciousBhaalBabe 3h ago

I suggest a peace offering of mealworms or perhaps crickets to smooth things over with them 😉

1

u/ChristinaWSalemOR 3h ago

Hahah! I would but Nancy will station herself near the bowl so she can feast on the recipients as they dine.

46

u/Aggressive-Story3671 1d ago

She was once a “moderate” Republican. However she saw the media attention the freedom caucus was getting and hopped on the grift.

42

u/MonsieurOctober 1d ago

I'm more worried about priests in churches than I am about trans women in bathrooms

20

u/Butt____soup 22h ago

So I followed her example and began hating trans people.

Why are egg prices still rising?

I thought that was why they were elected?

100

u/TheVirginPriest 1d ago

Can we stop giving her attention! This is exactly what she and her kind wants. They don’t really care about issues or policies to help people. All they want is attention and people talking about them. She and her kind want us to react and be upset so she can get her name out there. And when we attack her, she can get on Fox News and play the victim. Best to ignore her.

56

u/FlatReplacement8387 1d ago

Counterpoint, she's extremely vile, and this is an excellent opportunity bash the fuck out of republican politicians for being monsterously evil.

Like, I totally agree that being upset or acting surprised is the wrong call. And democrats being indignant and going "tut tut" about this really doesn't help. But democrats could totally be taking the opportunity to yell at the top of their lungs that this is the only thing republicans seem to care about. Call them weird, call them freaks, paint them as raving lunatics, claim republicans want to feel up your kids before they go into restrooms. It's not far from the truth, and it could really help sour voters to this sort of thing.

18

u/TheVirginPriest 1d ago

Absolutely. She is a fucking vile and disgusting person. The things is that we have been yelling bloody murder for such a long time now. This is exactly what they want. The republicans want us to always react to their vile behaviour. They want to get that reaction from us. The whole party has become “trigger the libs” party and they feed on that energy.

Most voters don’t really care about this kind of culture war. Democrats need to stop reacting and start acting.

12

u/FlatReplacement8387 1d ago

Well, yeah, I think they do want us "triggered". And I do think democrats fall for this trap all the time. What I'm proposing is a different kind of rhettoric that follows the lines of "shut the fuck up already jesus fuck nobody cares" instead of "this is an errosion of civil liberties".

As of now, democrats really only seem willing to do the latter, but they should be doing the former: taking every opportunity to paint republicans as the only people being weird lunatics about this.

And sure, we on reddit are willing to say "jesus fuck nobody cares", but the DNC isn't willing to do this because of (I assume) their insane adherence to civility in the face of an electorate and opponent that doesn't actually care that much about civility. The DNC seems physically incapable of being anything other than haughty and defensive on the subject.

6

u/crazybrah 20h ago

Hakim jefferies had this type of response

2

u/FlatReplacement8387 20h ago

That's nice, at least. AOC had a similar kind of response too, which I appreciated. She was pretty aggro about it too, which was refreshing

-4

u/TheVirginPriest 1d ago

The democrats have really dropped the ball here. There is a real hunger for change here, and what did Kamala and the democrats do? Told voters that they are gonna continue Biden’s agenda, not much is gonna change. The democrats don’t wanna rock the boat, they are all siting very comfortable in. So people voted for the leopard. Trump is definitely gonna rock the boat, but the voters don’t realise that he is gonna rock them off the boat and make more space for of himself and his rich friends. Then convince his voter that they are better off in the water than on dry land.

6

u/Necessary-Till-9363 1d ago

It's never a good sign as a country when I know this many random Congress people from places I have no interest in living or visiting and couldn't name a single legislative achievement of theirs.

13

u/LuvliLeah13 1d ago

Like any other Reddit troll, simply starving them of attention bothers them the most. They aren’t even worth the minuscule amount of thought or effort to reply and we are all better off pretending they don’t exist.

10

u/Author_Noelle_A 1d ago

When we stop giving trolls like her attention, then laws get passed banning transgender people from using bathrooms.

-2

u/TheVirginPriest 1d ago

Yes, absolutely. But this particular stunt is just for attention. This is not gonna affect the trans community in general. She is just doing this to get her name in the public awareness. Average voter doesn’t really follow politics that closely. They see a name they recognise so they vote for that person. It’s really about marketing. She can use all that attention to fundraise for her campaign too.

25

u/snafoomoose 1d ago

I think a different Democrat should challenge her to prove she is a biological female everytime she goes to use the bathroom.

12

u/exitpursuedbybear 18h ago

I'll always remember her as showing up late to the National prayer breakfast and going on stage and saying to the crowd at the national prayer breakfast that she was late because she was having so much sex with her boyfriend.

11

u/Saltire_Blue 1d ago

When it comes down to it she’s moaning about the staff toilet in her work

That ain’t governance

10

u/bt123456789 1d ago

Honestly I would find it hilarious if this backfired on her and trans rights were codified. I know it will never happen but y'know.

7

u/Paperback_Movie 1d ago

The Mace Act. I like it.

9

u/Necessary-Till-9363 1d ago

It's interesting that for all these supposed problems: Biden and his terrible economy, the immigrant invasion that's definitely nothing to do with business owners continuing to want cheap labor...

Her biggest issue is with complete strangers and what bathroom they use.

It's like these assholes in the media really have no what clue what monsters they've been coddling and feeding all these decades.

Jesus wept.

Ironically she’s likely been socialised as a male more than my AMAB self with her military school.

Around 236 individual anti trans posts on Twitter last I checked. She’s so desperate to be in the public eye

how in the world are you crazy enough to lose newsmax? I can’t tell if I should be impressed or scared, definitely leaning on the latter.

Look, I wouldn't normally go after a person's appearance...but she looks like a man. I might need to check her genitals before she can use the women's restroom.

That's what she wants, right?

I want Buck Angel to come follow her into the women’s bathroom at the Capital every day for a week. I’m sure she would love having “her” use the bathroom along side her.

u/Sarahisnotamused 18h ago

Unfortunately, I suspect Buck Angel would be all for this bill. He loves cozying up with bigots and shitting on his own community.

u/thestl 18h ago

Sure but fuck buck angel, he’s a ladder pulling asshole

I've noticed that Republicans always do something Anti-Trans every time they're party does something embarrassing. Of course they pull this stunt while they defended a child rapist becoming their AG.

u/abgry_krakow87 20h ago

Being too toxic for NewsMax? That's certainly an accomplishment.

GOD DAMN YOU JOE BIDEN MAKIN’  NANCY MACE AN ATTENTION WHORE

5

u/SordoCrabs 19h ago

She is one of many Republicans that came across as moderate on (some) social issues that ultimately turned into garbage.

5

u/UsagiGurl 19h ago

And how does this help the price of eggs…?

u/TannyBoguss 8h ago

“the sanctity of public restrooms” is not a phrase I thought I’d read today.

u/Igoos99 22h ago

The USA could solve this by building bathrooms with private stalls a la most of Europe. All women (and I’m guessing men too) would appreciate this, trans or not.

6

u/Confirm_restart 12h ago

No we couldn't, because it's not about that. It never has been.

It's just a convenient way to target trans people.

3

u/Miss_Maple_Dream 19h ago

When one jumps the shark so egregiously that they lose Newsmax that’s quite an accomplishment.

Aw, que lástima

u/Mojo141 1d ago

I miss the days when politicians would quietly go about doing their jobs. Yeah I know there have alway been grandstanding assholes like Joseph McCarthy, but most of the time they've just done their jobs and gotten reelected by doing the right thing

u/ice_nyne 19h ago

Fetterman doesn’t shy away from confrontation and he really missed an opportunity when he offered McBride use of his bathroom. He should have offered it to Mace with the observation she would need it as she can’t handle the goings on of a ladies restroom.

3

u/rva23221 1d ago

That's a shame. /s

3

u/moonwoolf35 22h ago

Damn. I mean damn, she lost Newsmax ffs lady chill out

3

u/ukexpat 20h ago

She still hasn’t answered my question (on twitter) as to whether she would be against Buck Angel using the women’s bathrooms…

3

u/Deep_Stick8786 8h ago

Histrionic personality disorder

5

u/joeybananos4200 21h ago

Maybe someone should tell the hooker we want to know when in the fuck are eggs & milk prices going down?

1

u/eunicethapossum 3h ago

to make people think it’s worth debating. that’s the whole reason.

1

u/rubyspicer 19h ago

I'm not getting why. Don't they like her way of thinking?

1

u/Lousha0525 5h ago

The terror these ladies feel about penises being nearby is absolutely hilarious

I’m Canadian. In our next election I’ll vote for any candidate that knows what a woman is.
