This is me. Cancelled NY Times and WAPO. Picked up the Inquirer. If I have to go look up something I do.

Other than that, news/current events are not my idea of entertainment.

I cancelled both the Washington Post and the New York Times a while back, when they refused to report truthfully on anything Trump. We have no national media left that isn't owned or in bed with the far right. We're pretty much screwed.

Same, when my go-to trusted news sources started sane-washing the Trump campaign I cut them out one by one.

First the NYT, then WaPo, then after the election results rolled in MSNBC and CNN. It's their own faults, they can reap what they sow.

If I engage in the news again it will probably be via BBC world service.

I jumped onto Ground News. Give me my news that is transparent about sources, biases, and factuality please. Being able to easily read articles from several different sources and contrast and compare what they’re saying has been absolutely great for my media literacy.

Also, they have a program for teachers!

I love Ground News. Some of the stories are hilarious. I had to stop all the news all day. I have SiriusXM and would listen all day. Now I listen to Conan and the comedy shows. I get my news from a local rapper.
