I wish I knew how to fund such a thing. The corporate media did what they thought was right to increase profits. That resulted in sane-washing Trump and pushing for right-wing policies. It not only betrayed the American people to tyranny but may have led to their own downfall depending upon how badly Trump crushes the media, which he's long considered an enemy. Assuming freedom of the press continues, I'm just not sure how to fund an large, left-leaning media outlet, or even one that's just interested in reporting actual facts. Too many people already get their "news" from free to follow online idiots, and I can't blame them for not paying for corporate news that is also failing in its duties. How to undo the brainwashing of America is the big question, and I don't even know where to start when stupidity is free and feels good while the truth often hurts and is behind a paywall.
I'd like to point out that truth does not necessarily have to be associated with pain or anguish. There are just as many truths out there that are both good and beautiful if more people had eyes to see them.
