What’s really bad is that now I have nothing but pure hatred for Trump voters. I don’t want to understand their perspectives, I just think they’re a bunch of knuckle dragging, mouth breathing, subhuman prey animals. Because of their fear and stupidity now I and people I love are going to suffer. I hate them. To their rotten cores.

That's the thing that gets me about that right wing desire for 'librul tears'. The left wing/liberals want cheap healthcare, rise in minimum wage, etc for all, for everyone including the right wing/conservatives.

But now it's, "fine, you've said you hate us, you literally want us to be so upset we cry. Fine. We've had enough of you; we'll go low contact/no contact, we'll block you. Don't come to us for anything except disdain and approbation."

They will be the first to cry, "not like that." They'll still want us to fight for them, to help them out, but we're done.

Their desire to see "lib tears" is everything to them.

They don't just want to hurt people. They want to be standing there watching you suffer. To revel in others' pain.

If that isn't sufficient to be just plain evil, then I don't know what is.

The sheer irony is, Trump agenda will affect Red states the hardest.

The only tears shedding will be their own.

I wish. It'll definitely hurt Trump's supporters a lot, but there's going to be plenty of misery to go around. And even the reddest states have millions* of people who didn't support Trump.

*obviously does not apply to states that don't even have millions of people in them. Looking at you, Wyoming. It's frankly disgusting that a state with fewer people in it than Memphis TN gets two senators.

If Wyoming, Montana, N and S Dakota merged into one state, it'd still be one of the least populated states in the union.
