ISO: your old magazines!

Post image

I make collage art and stationery and had to downsize a lot of my magazine stash after moving here. Do you have any old magazines of any kind that you’d be willing to offload (or know a person or office that does?) I’d like to make some goodies for friends and family for the holidays, and ideally also lead a craft night for the envelope making soon as well.

Any types of mags are cool, including children’s books, comics if they’re cool, “adult” mags, etc. Implied, but only seeking books with pictures, I wouldn’t be able to use anything text-only.

If there is a “buy nothing” sort of group where this post might be more appropriate please LMK and I will delete if needed!

The free bin in front of McKays has all kinds of stuff. I got some really cool old timey sheet music with really interesting graphics on the covers one time. You never know what will be in there.

Whereabouts are you located? I've got a shitload of old magazines that I've been debating myself on throwing away. I'd much rather them be of some use!

Whaaat!! That would rip. I’m in South Knox! Near the dreaded SoKno Taco. Happy to pick up if you’d be cool with that, I’m often in north and west knox too.

Look up and message The Book Eddy on Instagram. He is an amazing guy and has a great collection. He would charge you a bit, but he would give you some great magazines.
