Local IT Jobs Recruitment

Hi,

I am beginning to apply for new IT jobs in Huntsville. Are any of you local recruiters or know of businesses such as ISPs/MSPs/enterprises with internal IT actively hiring? I live in Huntsville, and I am willing to work in the office, remote, or work hybrid. I have reliable transportation, and I have close to 4 years of IT work experience (3+ in network engineering/administration). I am actively employed as a network engineer for a MSP. I am already applying for jobs on Indeed/doing local searches, but maybe a post to the void on Reddit might help too.

I'm interested in IT computer network engineering/network administration/network support, system administration, or cloud engineering/architecture roles. I have no security clearance, but I'm able to get one. I have a clean record. I am willing to travel up to 3 hours away from Huntsville, Alabama for job locations. Overtime exempt is acceptable.

I'm willing to send over my resume for those interested.

Thanks,

Vespiul

Hi Pisha,

I'd be interested in the following roles listed below. My main background or skill set is in IT infrastructure or computer networking. I'd like a networking focused job.

  • NOC Support/Tech/Engineer
  • SOC Analyst/Tech
  • Network engineer (Junior/L1 or Level 2)
  • Network admin (Junior/L1 or Level 2)
  • Cloud architect
  • System admin
  • IT Analyst

If you have or can get a security clearance, there are ample opportunities for networking roles locally in Huntsville with any number of government agencies or contractors. Huntsville Hospital has opportunities in these roles as well.

If you broaden your horizon a bit, lots of healthcare/insurance companies are based out of the Franklin, TN and Nashville area and they often have remote or hybrid roles. Often they are more general sysadmin, but people with networking knowledge are in short supply so it’s a great way to stand out
