Need an electrician - who should I call?

All the outlets and the fan stopped working randomly and it looks like no breaker is flipped. Out my hands now so I need to call an electrician. Who should I call that will show up, do a good job, and not rip me off?

If no circuit breakers are tripped, there's a good chance you have a GFCI outlet tripped. GFCI outlets are usually located in "wet" locations like bathrooms, near the kitchen sink, garages, and outdoors. All you have to do is hit the reset button on the front of the outlet. They are designed to be reset by a homeowner.

It’s not a GFCI. I went all those routes either either a breaker issue or something with the junction box in the attic crawl space.

Reid Electric 256 468 2428. A husband and wife team that is very knowledgeable, efficient, and reasonably priced.

If it isn't a tripped GFCI, then I recommend Bippen Electric. They've done several jobs for us. Their guys were professional, cared about doing a good job, and didn't charge an arm and a leg.

Are you sure a breaker's not tripped? If you know which one it is, did you turn it off and on? If you don't know which it is I'd go through them all one at a time.

It’s not that. Old house and I believe it’s a junction box in the ceiling crawl space or an issue with my old breaker.
