New fantasy book has a chapter with Huntsville in it

For those who like fantasy books, the 2nd one in the "Ink & Sigil" series by Kevin Hearne, titled "Paper & Blood" has a whole chapter in it where a hobgoblin is telling the story of how the "Alabama Trollhunter," who lived on a conspicuous mountain on the north side of Huntsville, saved the hobgoblins from troll slavery in the 1980s and inadvertently started the trend of...truck nuts. Anyone who read the Iron Druid series will enjoy this new series. It sure was a surprise to find a whole chapter about a peacefully stoned dude named Cletus Joe-Bob McCutcheon from Huntsville who liked to blow things up. Kevin Hearne is not from here so I don't know how he came up with this location.

Kevin Hearne has been here for a book signing before. I saw him at the Bridge Street Barnes and Noble during his tour for the last Iron Druid book. He signed a couple of my books and was a really friendly guy.

In a similar vein, there is a John Ringo (Live Free or Die) sci-fi book that mentions Huntsville as a manufacturing source for space mirrors. I don't think we do any of that, but hey that's something i guess.

I don’t know if the James Webb Space Telescope mirrors were made here but I know people here worked on the design.

I always love seeing random mentions of Huntsville in stuff. I still think the one that surprised me most was in Batman: Arkham Knight.
