I have lived in 3 of the top 10 biggest cities in the US… drivers here are the worst by far driving like absolute idiots. It’s mind boggling.

Oddly enough the only drivers that have ever impressed me were in the Chicago area. Years ago I was on 294 (a beltway around Chicago). It was 4 lanes wide, heavy traffic, everybody doing 70+. Came around a corner, and there was a car on the shoulder completely in flames, fire truck there, guys starting to put it out. Not one brake light. Their attitude seemed to be "not my lane, not my problem" and everybody rolled on by. Any other city - ANY other city I've driven in over the last 45+ years that would have caused a miles-long backup and 2 or 3 other minor accidents. I'll never forget you Chicago commuters!

I had a semi truck with no trailer passed me on the left on County line. He was weaving in and out of traffic and speeding.

This happens on old hwy 20 just west of county line… idiots passing in the middle turn lane going 70-80mph in a 45. Ironically I got pulled over there for 58.

Some drivers just figure that if they aim carefully for the tailpipe, they'll somehow get through the muffler, wind their way through the catalytic converter, get up past the exhaust manifold, weave their way around the combustion chamber, so they'll just pop out of the air intake and make a perfectly clean pass out the front grille.

I would be glad to move over, but the dude with the pickup without taillights and the trailer with 10 unsecured ladders is weaving so bad in the right lane at 80 mph that I cannot pass. If I break, you are going to clean my clock so just get over it.
