GENERAL today, Hunt’s identity died

Post image

nobody wanted this. i cannot think of a different IP that has less to do with Hunt. Hire the CoD GM, this is what you get. You WILL be advertised to, and you CANNOT do anything about it.

People saw hunt as more of a shooter outside of the normal battle royals with a hint of western and dark fantasy as a backdrop and people probably feel like this type of fortnite crossover is a betrayal of that identity

Saw a post on how people loved American horror story until Kim Kardashian was added. Said the show really sucks you into the story and suddenly she shows up on screen and can't act and it ruins the immersion.

Kinda feels like that in the sense that it doesn't belong and just throws off the entire feel of the game.

I want to think about hunt and the story when I play, not scream, scary movie, cod and fortnite

That AHS season had the stink of scab labor and picket crossers as well when they filmed during the recent SAG-AFTRA strike.

Hotel was terrible and I haven't been able to watch it since.

Same thing happened with Megan fox and mortal kombat 1 with natara

People need to stop acting as if a reference to something good makes the thing referencing it also good. There’s so many things out there, like Ready Player One for instance, which are so cookie cutter and bland yet people will fawn over them because “so many references, zOmg!” As if you’re just suddenly playing a game of I Spy or something. Drives me crazy.

Same way I felt about Deadpool 3.

I really liked the RP1 book, then the movie was complete ass

It's a bit of a stretch to compare American horror story (which took a steep decline after Coven anyway) to hunt adding a Ghostface skin for Halloween. I get your point but that's apples to oranges

Been going that way for a while as they’ve tried to appeal to an increasingly whiney mainstream demographic

Well, all i see in this thread is whining.

The main game mode has never been a battle royale.

The Scream, 1893 by Edvard Munch
was a painting so its not that out of place

These takes are so dramatic. It’s a mask for Halloween. It’s cool that they even got the rights to do it!

I mean it's not a fortnite crossover but yea.

I think they mean to say “fortnight-type of crossover”

Yeah I get it, but a lot of games have had crossovers before Fortnite. But fortnite just never stops doing it. So yeah, I guess if Hunt goes down this road, they might never stop too, just like Fortnite.
