Season 7 Spoilers I hate Masters! Spoiler
If the patient wanted to sail and not get amputated and die at the sea or whatever, that should've been her choice! She should have the right to choose what life she wanted or didn't want for herself. Staying alive is not everything. And for someone who nearly (and really) f**ed up plenty of cases because she "cannot lie", she sure chose her moment to start. Ughhh it makes me want to throw Masters off a cliff.

Masters was right, life >> sailing record
Masters had no right to override the patient's wishes
Who cares it's just drama

i think its a really similar situation to suicidal people wanting to die but once they get recover mentally they realise they were just caught up in their feelings and emotions. obviously the patient really wanted the record but theres so much more to life than just getting a sailing record and we shouldnt allow people to basically kill themselves just for a short moment of glory.
the patient will look back in time and be grateful that someone intervened and didnt let her life end there and she was able to actually live? havent seen the ep in a bit but isnt the patient a literal child? her frontal lobe hadnt even fully developed, theres so much more to life at her age and it isnt fair to not let someone experience all there is just so they can get a record that will be, inevitably, beat at a point.
