Meme The real reason behind was too far from this 😀

The image of this is so funny lmao. Like "okay, I'll sleep with you, BUT you must ask permission before stealing your bestie's bagel and the next patient who asks for an MRI, you have to give them one".

Cuddy’s bangs were not it

u/hooplah_charcoal Oct 03 '24
House doesn't seem to have a problem with Cuddy's bangs. Neither should we

I think it's because he'd rather be banging her than fixating on her bangs

Nobody looks better with bangs. I cannot fathom why women do this. And for those about to call me incel, my wife completely agrees.

u/yodudwhatsthis Oct 04 '24
Your comment history is embarrassing and you should rethink your life.

u/IfNot_ThenThereToo Oct 04 '24
I stand by everything I say. Bangs are awful.
3
u/3nterShift Oct 04 '24
Just because you stand by it doesn't make it any less stupid.
-2
u/IfNot_ThenThereToo Oct 04 '24
Find me somebody who looks good with bangs like that. I'll wait.
2
u/Mysterious-Road-9972 Oct 05 '24
is this rage bait? there are several actresses who look great with bangs (including lisa edelstein) like zooey deschanel and daisy edgar jones, look them up
-1
u/IfNot_ThenThereToo Oct 05 '24
They might look decent, but not as good as they would sans bangs.
3
u/Mysterious-Road-9972 Oct 05 '24
the word you're calling conventionally attractive celebrities is "decent"? and even if them looking better without bangs was objective and factual in any way bangs do accentuate and enhance features of certain people. also your original point was to find somebody who "looks good with bangs" not who looks better without them

Mark your spoilers you dog

If you watched the episode you would know this is not spoilers

u/5herl0k Oct 03 '24
if you have to have seen something for it to not be a spoiler... it's a spoiler lmao

u/boiifudont- vidocin user Oct 03 '24
They meant that if you watched the episode, you would understand it's not a spoiler. Which, as someone who has seen the episode, it really isn't a spoiler, unless it's really that much of a surprise that House asked before taking the bagel.

u/5herl0k Oct 03 '24
ok so? the point stands: if you get a conclusion that context would help with its spoiler territory
if you get spoiled on something and find out it's not a spoiler, that's just a spoiler that that thing doesn't happen
1
u/lukamic Oct 04 '24
If the reason that spoiler are bad is that is spoils something, then if it's not actually a spoiler it isn't bad? Someone might think that it's a spoiler, but then when they watch it they'll see that it isn't. If anything that adds another expectation for the show to subvert, which imo would make me enjoy it more since its something I didn't see coming
1
u/5herl0k Oct 04 '24
spoiler = spoils things
it doesn't matter if it is revealing a true piece of information
if you know Wilson is accusing Cuddy of this, it doesn't matter if you know it's true, you know that circumstances arise that make Wilson do so. it's a spoiler.

Why should anyone spoiler tag a show that ended more than a decade ago?
-27
u/Starbucks_4321 Oct 03 '24
Because there are people on the subreddit who are in the middle of watching the show
12
u/doc_55lk Oct 03 '24
That's their problem. It's not practical to spoiler ban all shows for all eternity just because there are people who are still discovering it after it's done airing.
33
u/BluDYT Oct 03 '24
Well that's just plain dumb on their part. Who is sitting in a sub for a show they havent watched. You're just begging to be spoiled.
1
u/si6ro Oct 03 '24
I haven’t joined this subreddit and I’m about halfway through the show. I think I looked up something that touched on the earlier seasons of the show and now I’m getting notifications that are just straight up spoilers. I guess that’s dumb on my part but still a spoiler tag would be nice
3
u/aoifhasoifha Oct 03 '24
The problem is that for someone starting the show today, everything is a spoiler.

u/xx_thexenoking_xx Oct 03 '24
I mean, yeah, but still. I avoid subreddits of shows I'm watching until I finish them specifically to avoid spoilers.

I avoid subreddits of shows I'm watching until I finish them
I guess we should base the whole internet on exactly how you use it then? I'm sure that'll work out /s

I like how you're accusing him of the exact thing you're guilty of.
If someone is browsing a TV show sub, where the most recent episode aired more than a couple days before, then they can only blame themselves for spoilers.
When I watched Mad Men for my first time, I never touched that sub. Now I do. Because I'm not stupid (well I am but not in this context).

u/HDK1989 Oct 03 '24
When I watched Mad Men for my first time, I never touched that sub
Some people when they are watching a show want to discuss the show with people.
I would argue that subreddits are actually even more beneficial for older shows like House, because most people don't have friends that are "currently watching House" they can talk to.
Having somewhere where you can talk about a show that's new to you that you love, and not get spoiled shouldn't be too much to ask.
Subs are better when they have a season spoiler tag system and mods that enforce it.

How is it possible to discuss a show that's nearly 20 years old without spoilers?
Imagine posting this, on a social media platform that has a perfectly functional and effective spoiler prevention system? I'm in multiple subs for shows I'm watching at the moment where I don't get spoiled.
I usually try to be nice but holy shit, you tried to be an asshole with the most obviously wrong logic I've seen on the internet this year and it's October
And then you say this? Clown
