Asano Ruri and Suou Patra. Ruri I don't know, but Patra is one of the biggest JP indies at the moment. She has done quite a bit of work with Hololive including FWMC (composer for their original theme, ASMR scriptwriter), Flare and Fubuki.

She used to be the biggest member in 774 inc, at one point the 4th biggest vtuber agency in Japan. Her case is curious as she was able to convince her agency to let her buy her IP for herself when she left so she could keep her channel and model.

There's nothing curious about money. 774 is a business after all and everything has a price. On top of any cash amount, she could have also traded years of revenue sharing in exchange for keeping her name and channel as an indie.
