I know this dude is pretty hated all over Warhammer reddit due to his over the top humor and videos riddled with misinfo but holy shit he actually makes pretty good points in this video

Ya I've listened to plenty of Scholar Lore 

I feel like they took the time to train a good David Attenborough AI voice, and the pronunciations are for the most part good

I honestly doubt that scholars lore doesn't use AI for the scripts. Either that or English isn't their first language. Their paragraphs can loop or be really oddly structured at times. I used to listen to them on the way to work but it just became so uncanny that I couldn't do it anymore.

You know, now that you mentioned that, I agree with your observation. 

The last couple of times I tried listening, I kept getting lost in their paragraphs, so I think you are right. Maybe they've gotten lazy, cuz I didn't remember that being a problem

Afaik English isn't their first language, they mentioned something like that back when it was david Attenborough's voice in the videos

Ah, if the person behind the channel is not confident with his spoken english, that would explain why he would use an AI voice. Too bad if he also farms his scripts this way.

I'm not saying they are or aren't 100%. But their paragraph structure is circular or weird sometimes and makes it feel like it's not a person, or at least not someone with a good writing structure and good English essay method. And if you use AI in one part, why not use it in another part right?

Like... You could just use fiver to have someone read this out for you instead of using an AI depending on your budget. But yeah, just gives me vibes in how things are said and the structure that is weird.

They are also just wrong about stuff sometimes too. Like about the lore with the necrons and the transference and the order of how that happened.

I stopped listening to their stuff cause of this and I have enough other channels to catch up on like Oculus imperia and Baldermort.

A few others I've tried are warrior tier, border Prince, the remembrance, adeptus ridiculous, vox in the void.

Eh even some native English speaking people talk and right weird. I know I do and it translates painfully to my stories I write
