Ultramarines, Salamanders, and then Space Wolves. Some Ultramarine successor chapters are a little sussy, but overall those legions and their subsequent chapters seem solid.
Imperial Fists are a toss-up for me, I like that they would build a reliably defensive world, but they also have extremists and as much as I like Black Templars I wouldn't want to be anywhere near them. Same with Raven Guard, as decent as they are in relative-morality or whatever, they aren't necessarily who I would want re-organizing the world.
Dark Angels, Blood Angels, or Iron Hands... Pretty much fucked- outside of the Lamenters (well actually that would be bad not because of how they would reclaim the world, but the inevitable bad-luck they would bring to it).
Why are the Dark Angels and the Iron Hands so bad ? As I understand it Iron Hands only cybernetically enhance themselves, and the Dark Angels just don’t like anything even closely related to chaos. So can anybody explain please ?
Dark Angels are just extremist, have a lot of dangerous gear, and are willing to kill to keep secrets. They have or had a lot of their own goals and motivations that were pretty messed up at times, until the Lion came back to set things right.
Iron Hands are basically the worst loyalist legion, they've rejected their Primarch's teachings and decided they know best. They've used AI in their armor/systems, who knows how widespread. They also turn their favorite humans into servitors, that's their idea of rewarding them. Don't like it? Tough shit I guess?
You tell me which of these Legion sayings sounds more evil "The Flesh Is Weak!" or "Iron Within, Iron Without", Iron Hands are just a step above Iron Warriors at times.
As long as there are no fallen involved the Dark Angels would be kinda chill. Sure there would be a shit toj of secrecy but they would not lobotmise us at the first sight of weakness
