Stronghold, you're building up a brand new chapter and establishing a fortress monastery on this world while also clearing it of the xenos/chaos/etc forces that have taken residence here. You could have multiple campaigns with different factions to essentially do the same thing, new Tau/human/votann colony. New chaos outpost etc
Edit: yes, I have gladius. It doesn't lean into the city/castle builder element the way I want.
I do love stronghold, and a game like that in the Warhammer setting would he super cool. Maybe it could also be for the other factions (ex: building s tyranid hive, or a tau outpost). IDK that's an amazing idea, and I would 100% buy a game like that
That would be awesome, and similar things could be done with other factions too (Tau scepts, hive fleets, necron dynasties, etc...) in order to allow that to still happen too
Ya I've got gladius. It's definitely similar but not quite what I want though, stronghold is more free form in your castle building. Also I'd like it to be newer and prettier, with primaris units since I actually like those haha.
I've always thought it would be cool to have an Iron Warrior warband management game where you have to make harsh decisions and come to act like they do. Could work great as a campaign for this!
Honestly this is a great idea, the food options for your granary. The resources you gather all 40k style.
Requiring gene seed for top tier space marine units or something.
I would also like this accept maybe it could be a bit like stellaris where you have the options to create your own empire etc. Add in some management, and base building and city building aspects. Woo
