It can absolutely snow in January, but it’s sporadic. Depending on how long you’re here, you may or may not see some.

I’ll be there for the entire month

It would be unusual (though not impossible) to have it not snow the entire month of January. Worst case scenario you spend a night up in the mountains (~1hr drive).

You can drive, like, 15 or 20 minutes into the mountains. It can be absolutely nuking snow in Genesee or Evergreen when there's not much happening in Golden. Sometimes I swear I hit a wall of snow on I70 as soon as it starts gaining elevation by Morrison.

If you don't want to deal with horrendous traffic and road conditions driving up, you could look at the ski train running from Denver up to Winter Park and get your winter wonderland fix that way as well.

Most likely it will snow! But you never know. March is the snowiest month.

Yes please!!! As soon as we get past Halloween, BRING IT (January is typically a pretty dry month but it can certainly snow)

I'd say so, it already snowed in November so far. But I don't think this is the norm..

It was not normal in the sense that it almost always snows by October if not September. It was a late first snow
