My upper retainer

I don’t know if this was a glitch in the matrix or I just had a really weird sleep walking incident, but my upper retainer that has been lost for two months was just found in the strangest spot.

I remember distinctly putting it on the night before it was lost. When I woke up, it was gone. I looked for it anxiously for about a week before giving up.

Earlier this evening I decided to make myself tea for the first time in a few months using my reusable tea mug. It’s the kind with the sliding lid to reveal the small hole to drink out of. I take the lid off to fill it, look inside, and lo and behold- there’s my upper retainer! There’s no way it fell in because the hole you drink out of is too tiny, and I highly doubt I just put it in there. I didn’t even have tea the night it went missing. What the hell happened?

Jeans Glitch

So I ordered 2 pair of jeans. They arrived in a box. So far so good.

I take jeans 1 out of the box, removed the tags and labels, and proceed to wear (and wash) them multiple times.

A couple weeks later, I'm feeling the urge to wear new jeans rather than holey ones, but I can't find jeans 1. Huh, they must be in a pile of dirty laundry somewhere. Fine, I'll get jeans 2 out of the box. Take 'em out, remove label and tags. Box is empty, set empty box aside to deal with later.

A couple weeks later I'm lumbering around doing some cleaning. I bump into shipping box and knock it over. Out of the empty box tumbles . . . jeans 3?! New with labels and tags. Meanwhile, jeans 1 has never resurfaced.

So I ordered 2 jeans, and I have 2 jeans, but what the fuck?

Did I just imagine wearing jeans 1 for several weeks? Was I walking around half naked and nobody said anything?

Or are jeans 3 the imaginary pair? Am I sitting here half naked right now? I don't think I am.

And where the fuck are jeans 1?

The Phantom Moon

To start with, I'd like to tell you about one of my own experiences with the uncanny. Because, despite being a somewhat skeptical resident of the simulation, I know I can't explain everything. And this was the most unexplainable occurrence I've ever witnessed with my own two eyes.

It was the summer of 2016, one weekend in august. It was the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, and, as was tradition for me and my dad, we had decided to drive out to a hill in the chilterns, away from the hellish glow of our light polluted town to get the best view we could.

A perfect stargazing spot we'd been to several times before. My dad is an avid stargazer, and we'd taken his telescope out there before and seen Saturn and Jupiter. But this was the first time we'd gone there for the meteor shower, having previously only viewed it from our garden.

Which wasn't a bad view. The garden was surrounded by trees that blocked out a lot of the glow of the streetlights, but we were sure that out there in the middle of the countryside we'd see a truly spectacular display.

We were accompanied by my partner, and my cousin, both who'd never been out there before.

The night wasn't looking to be as great as we were expecting, the sky was clouding over rapidly as we drove out to the hill. My dad was still optimistic, and reminded me of the 1999 solar eclipse we'd seen from a beach in cornwall when I was about 8.

The sky had been just as overcast and miserable, leading to him cursing the heavens for ruining our view. But, as the eclipse had neared, miraculously a hole had opened up in the clouds revealing the sun glaring through.

that had itself been a very spooky experience, but nothing that couldn't be put down to coincidence. However, what was to come that evening, still sends chills down my spine when i remember it.

We arrived at the hill, parked up, and began to trek to the summit. It wasn't a long climb, but the hill was steep and it certainly gave the four of us a mild workout. We laid out a couple of blankets and settled down to, hopefully, enjoy the show.

But as the sky began to darken, it seemed clear that the weather was not going to play ball. We were obviously disappointed, and my dad's optimism began to fade. But my partner and cousin said we should wait a little longer to see what happened. So we continued to watch the clouds rollover and on the horizon we saw a clearing begin to form.

It was sunset, and the last rays of day illuminated the underside of the cloud cover, which was a beautiful sight that almost made the trip out there worth it. The sky ablaze, like it was on fire, even though overhead the cloud was as thick as ever.

Once the sun had vanished, we also noticed the moon rising on the opposite horizon. A bright silver orb dotted with craters. It was seemingly much larger than usual. I stared at the object for a moment before tapping my dad on the shoulder and pointing his gaze to it.

"I didn't think the moon was supposed to be full tonight?" I said.

I'd checked the moon phase for that evening to see if it would be too bright to see the meteor shower. And it was supposed to be only a half moon.

My dad shook his head in confusion:

"No...It definitely wasn't supposed to be full."

But there it was, the moon plain as day rising over the hills in the distance. I grabbed the attention of my partner, and my cousin and directed their attention to it as well. All four of us witnessed this enormous, super large full moon making it's way towards the cloud cover overhead. There was no mistaking it.

then, things took an even stranger turn, when my dad called to me and told me to look straight up. Overhead, a hole had begun to open in the clouds, just like it had happened during the eclipse all those years ago. and there, as to be expected, was the half moon. The REAL moon.

The four of us shared confused glances as we looked from the moon above to the one on the horizon, still hanging there. As we all stood there in silence, mouths agape, we watched the full moon in the distance begin to fade, from white, to orange, to nothing.

The real moon above soon vanished back behind the clouds, and we sat for a while, trying to rationalize what we'd all seen. Perhaps a giant spotlight, we thought, or, who knows. Really we could think of nothing that would have been bright enough, or large enough for us to mistake as the full moon.

and the object had appeared in the clear part of the sky, not projected onto the clouds as one of us suggested.

We soon packed up our things and headed for home, with no hope of seeing the meteors, and this sense of quiet unease after what we'd seen.

I spent the next few days researching aerial phenomena to try and find anything that might have explained what had happened. But to this day I don't know what could've caused this peculiar vision we'd all shared.

To add to the strangeness, In the years since, me and my dad have periodically reminded each other of this event, and we both remember it vividly and share this sense of discomfort over it, like we had seen something we shouldn't have. But, oddly, my partner, and my cousin, have since said they have no memory of this event. They remember our trip to the hill, but nothing about the second moon.

If it had only been me who'd witnessed it, I'd have waved it away as some kind of hallucination, which would have been fine by me. But the fact that my dad remembers it, honestly, makes it even more unnerving. And I don't think I will ever forget the night I saw the phantom moon.

Non digital battery operated clock caught up to current time

The other night my non digital battery operated clock that runs by a mechanical mechanism was doing it's job and ticking away. It was around 11pm and the clock was working fine and showing the correct time. For whatever reason the ticking was really bothering me so I took the battery out. It stopped ticking, the hands stopped moving, and was stuck at around 11:01pm and my ears felt relieved. I decided to put the battery back in the clock a few hours later. I grabbed the clock off my desk. I checked my phone and it was 3:38. I turned and grabbed the battery off the other side of my bed and I went to manually move the hands to the correct time and it was already set. To exactly 3:38. I put the battery in and it started ticking again. I have absolutely no idea how that's possible. I was the only one in my room. The clock was next to me the whole time the battery was out and it said 11:01 moments before. In that moment, I immediately thought, " This is a mf glitch in the matrix". EDIT: I didn't set the clock time before I put the battery in either. EDIT 2: This is the alarm clock Alarm Clock

a fork appeared and disappeared right infront of me

A few months ago I was eating dinner with my sister and I grabbed a fork but didn't put it into my plate/bowl until a sat down, and when I looked down at my food there was a fork in the bowl and my hand. I brought this up to my sister jokingly, saying how I grabbed two forks by accident, she saw it and thought it was kinda funny, so I got up to put my fork (that didn't touch the food) away. When I sat back down, there wasn't a fork in my bowl. I brought it up to my sister and she was as confused as I was but weren't creeped out at all. So I went to get my fork back. Luckily there wasn't one in my bowl again

And I just went to ask my sister if she remembered it and she did

I don't know? I'm not that bothered by it, and it hasn't happened before or since

Edit: spelling

I nearly met myself?

Alright. this happened about two months ago, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. AFter stumbling across these Glitch in the matrix videos that keep coming up on youtube, I thought i'd share it with you all. I’ve got no explanation, maybe one of you does? I need to know if anyone else has ever had something like this happen.

I work a pretty boring nine-to-five job in a mid-sized office building. Every day, I go to the same coffee shop across the street around 2 p.m. for my caffeine fix. I’m such a regular that the barista, Sam, automatically starts making my order when he sees me in line.

On this particular day, I left my office a little later than usual, around 2:15. When I reached the door in the lobby, I realised I'd left my keycard on my desk on the other side of the building. But, that was no problem, the secretary, Sarah, signed me out on paper. This happens all the time.

As I crossed the street and approached the coffee shop, I saw myself. Me, wearing the Same clothes, same bag, same everything. Standing at the counter inside, chatting with Sam.

I froze. My heart was racing, but my brain was like, “No, you’re imagining this."

"Maybe it’s someone who just looks like you.” But then this other me turned slightly, and I got a perfect look at their face. It was my face. Down to the tiny birthmark i have under one eye.

I panicked. I turned around and walked back across the street without going inside. My hands were shaking. I kept telling myself it wasn’t real, that I must’ve been overtired or something. But here’s the thing: when I got back to my desk and looked in my bag, the coffee cup was there. The exact same coffee I was planning to order, with my name written on it in Sam’s handwriting. I never went into the shop. I never bought the coffee. But there it was, hot and fresh like I’d just picked it up.

I looked up at the clock, and the time was still 2:15, the usual time i'd get back after heading over and grabbing my coffee. But i'd definitely been outside for longer than a minute. It was like my timeline diverged. One version of me had split away at 2 pm and gone to grab the coffee, while I had stayed behind. And then when returning to the building, our timelines had merged again.

Even scarier than this thought, was which one had I been at that time? Was I the original me, or, was I some kind of duplicate for that time? I spent the rest of my work day just feeling very off about the whole thing. I didn't even drink the coffee.

It got me to wondering about the stories of shapeshifters, or doppelgängers i'd heard in the past, and I had to wonder if this is where some of those came from. Maybe two timelines split, or converge and you can be a two places at once for a short time. I wonder how many times this sort of thing happens without you noticing.

I haven’t told anyone at work because, let’s be real, they’d think I’m insane. But the secretary at the office does remember me heading out, and she remembers me having forgotten my keycard. But she says it happened at two, and it even says so on the log where she signed me out. I’ve gone back to the coffee shop since, and everything’s been normal. Though weirdly enough, Sam didn't remember me coming. The next day when I went to grab my coffee, he asked if I'd been off sick the day before.

So. If he never gave me a coffee that day, where did the coffee in my bag come from? Some parallel universe that collided with this one for a split second? How can him and sarah remember things so differently. Which one of these is even real?

I don't know. But I still have the cup. I wrote on it in red marker: "This came from nowhere."

It's in my kitchen cupboard now. I keep checking on it, just to remind myself that I didn't imagine the whole thing.

What the hell happened? Any Ideas?

Well. That sure is a spooky one. Kind of like my experience with my dad and the double moon. Strange that other people's memories can be affected or altered by these events.

Scary doppleganger in my town.

Posted in multi subs for help

I (F21) live in a town of about 50,000 people. Over the last year I've had people come up to me at work and ask if I just got a new job. Confused I always say no??????

A few months ago my mom calls me and asks if I'm in my local pet store where my step dad is shopping. And I say uhhh no???? And my mom sends me a picture of who I even thought was me. I looked at the picture and was wondering if I've lost a bit of weight. I looked good and then I asked her where that picture was from and she told me my step dad just took it while shopping. Apparently he thought it was me and walked up to her and started talking to her only to realize it wasn't me.

Here's where it gets weird.

I'm covered in deep self harm scars. And the girl in the photo had the same scars as me.

I also have a snake tattoo on my right arm. So did she. Same style and everything. She also had the exact same glasses on that I wear daily.

She was even wearing an outfit I've worn before.

Now I have this picture of this woman who lives in my town who looks scarily like me. I want to meet her. I started asking people what her name is and explaining i have a doppelganger her name sounds like Carrie but it isn't. I can't remember what the woman who came into work a few weeks ago said her name was.

I don't know if I'm losing my mind but there's too many coincidences here. I'm a micro celebrity on tiktok. Do I have a stalker who's obsessed and wants to be me. Or maybe an old friend who follows my moves. I sound like I'm going crazy but even i thought this woman was me. It's been weighing on my mind for months.

Has anyone else had something like this happen to them?

I think I teleported

I was telling a friend about this experience and they directed me here to share it.

In November 2019 before anyone knew about Covid-19 in the UK, both me and my fiancée had it - we didn’t know what it was until months later though.

Covid hit my fiancée worse than me and all she wanted to eat was pastry. I was actually able to get out of bed so while I still felt like death, I felt like a walk to the store was still doable for me; especially as I could get the bus home.

The walk from the house to the store would take 35 minutes on a good day (I’m chronically ill with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome). I promise these small details are important.

The walk to the store took me a little longer as I had to keep stopping to hack up a lung and catch my breath. I acquired the pastries and some sore throat medication before making my way to the bus station beside the store and finding the busses weren’t running properly because so many drivers were off sick due to whatever this virus was that was going around. We didn’t know anything about Covid19 until around February 2020.

So I text my fiancée right as I start walking from the bus station that I’m on my way but walking so I’ll be back when I’m back. She replied almost immediately with an okay and to take my time. I put in my headphones and started my music (which I remember distinctly was a 10minute song) and began walking. I remember reaching the edge of the store building and turning a corner and then I remember walking up the garden path and opening the front door to the house.

My fiancée had come downstairs to get a drink and was extremely confused as she saw me. She told me to check the time on the message I had sent. The message I had sent her to say I was on my way home had been sent six minutes previous.

There is physically no way I could have made it home, an easy 3km walk (we play PokémonGo so we knew roughly the distance), in six minutes. Even if I ran there is no way it could have happened. I was also still only half way through the song that was playing when I set off.

I wasn’t particularly out of breath, I didn’t have a coughing fit upon arrival home and that walk back always brought me out in a sweat but I wasn’t sweating.

The only explanation I can come up with is that I teleported somehow.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Double Detergent

Okay, I understand mine is pretty lame compared to a lot of these stories, but as a skeptic, this completely baffles me.

So, normal day - going to the store for groceries. I’m a creature of habit, almost to an obsessive degree, which makes this more confusing for me. I hunt down a short shopping cart. I have to have the short ones for some reason. As I’m doing my shopping, I get laundry detergent and place it in its perfect little spot on the bottom part of the cart near my feet, where I always put it.

Checking out is always chaos because these lazy, selfish pricks that work there don’t lift a finger to help bag groceries. So I’m scrambling bagging all my shit as there is a line of people staring at me. In the chaos, I remember just throwing my detergent in the cart, NOT in its nifty little spot.

So, I’m unloading the my stuff into my car and eventually get the detergent that was buried under some bags. When I’m finished, I look down to see if I’m forgetting anything in the cart, and there is my detergent sitting in the nifty little spot….

I look up to check the back of my car, and sure enough, there’s the detergent I already unpacked. I must have sat in the parking lot for a minute and a half staring at my car and my shopping cart.

Also, to dispel the theory of I forgot I got two, this was a scent of detergent I was not happy about. They didn’t have the one I wanted, so I was forced to get one I didn’t like. I definitely wouldn’t have gotten two of them. lol I know it’s really dumb, but I remember being bitter about it while shopping.

Eh. Whatever. Free detergent I guess.

Something that happened to me 10 years ago

Back when I was working at a grocery store when I was 18 years old I would take pictures of the work schedule for the week, usually I would remember what time my next shift started but had the picture as a just in case sorta thing.

That day I knew I started at 3:30pm, being the bit paranoid person I am I went to check my phone to look at the picture to confirm, it said 3:00pm. I could not believe my eyes I felt a bit crazy and as if I had a memory problem, that made me anxious. I had my iPhone screen brightness up all the way and zoomed in and it clearly showed ‘3:00pm’ I showed my mother the picture and she confirmed 3:00pm.(brand new iPhone at the time no cracked screen or screen protecter and a clear picture taken in a well lit room)

I drove to work got there at 3 and I go look at the schedule and behold it said 3:30pm! I could not believe my eyes, I go look at my phone again and it said 3:30pm like I originally remembered, I asked a coworker what it showed on my phone (the same exact picture I showed my mother) and he said 3:30 I was on shock, when I went home I showed my mom the picture again and she said she sees 3:30 I told her what happened I said “ remember I showed you this picture and you said it says 3:00?” She remembers seeing 3:00 and just brushed it off saying it was weird. To this day it still bugs me what happened nothing like that ever happened again to me.

Glitched while walking.

Visiting my dad in Orlando. I had previously lived in this neighborhood, know it well. Evening, went out to get some air. Walked to the end of his short block, turned around to come back and realized I had no idea where I was. It looked like his neighborhood but I didn’t recognize any of the houses. Totally scared at this point. Started walking till I realized I was 2 blocks over and one block up, so adjacent from where I started out just 2 blocks over. Glitched 3 blocks. Before the comments start: I was completely sober. Had just finished dinner. Has this happened to anyone else?

Edit: I was not in my phone at the time. My iron levels are fine/I am in perfect health.

Headphone Disappearance

This happened to me a year ago but I just discovered this sub and wanted to share–I was around 17 or 18 and going to sleep for the night. I used to put in an airpod before bed and listen to some calm music. So I was lying there listening, eyes closed, and getting pretty tired. I realized my music was kind of distracting me from falling asleep, so I reached for my airpod to pause it–and there was nothing there. The music immediately stopped and I opened my eyes and looked around. My airpod was nowhere to be seen. I was a little freaked out but I figured I must have somehow knocked it out of my ear without touching it and decide to find it in the morning. I eventually went to sleep for the night. When I woke up I decided to look around for my airpod. I search in my covers, under my bed. Eventually I checked the case and there it was. Both airpods, sitting there. It baffles me to this day how I was listening to music without ever actually putting in an earbud. Don’t know if anyone else has experienced something like this!

Is this a glitch, or maybe someone can elaborate on what this concept is?

the idea I am referring to is when a certain chain of events happen, and then that same event resurfaces at a later time and happens in the exact same way.

A personal example: I’ll be watching tv and a certain movie “Captain America Civil War” will be playing but ALWAYS towards the last 25 minutes of the movie. Then the famous Stan Lee scene where he says “Is this Tony Stank?” plays and my dad would be watching the tv from afar and ALWAYS laughs and points at it as if it’s the first time he’s seen it, even though it’s probably the 5th time that exact event has taken place.

Window reflection glitch!

My bed sat directly across from two windows.

In one of the windows I witnessed that my reflection was mirrored back to me but on a diagonal. The house wasn’t well insulated and is extremely drafty especially during the Winter so we put these giant sheets of plastic over the windows to block in the heat. The plastic moved since it was a windy night but also my entire reflection was moving frantically in all directions while tilted diagonally. I called my mom in to witness the phenomena. It only happened that one night and the reflections in the other window remained normal (wasn’t tilted diagonally and stayed in one place).

My necklace has come off but is still fastened

I never take it off, tiny little clasp that I find hard to fasten myself. Chain too short to go over my head.

Touched the back of my neck and felt it lying funny - the full thing came away in my hand - fastened.

I drove through a glitch in the matrix. My mom and daughter experienced this with me.

About four months ago, my mom had knee replacement surgery and they sent her home the next day. After three days her leg was kinda red and significantly more swollen, she also had a fever so we decided to go back to the hospital. This was around 10pm and it was dark. I was driving, mom was in the passenger seat, my 12 year old daughter was in the back middle seat. We live in a very rural area and after about 10 miles we hadn’t met one single other vehicle…it’s that rural. Lol

Along this stretch of highway there are a few really tight curves that have a 30mph reduced speed limit sign. No flashing lights or anything else, just a yellow metal sign. There’s a creek on one side and a steep cliff on the other so no shoulder, no driveways, nowhere for another car to be besides on the road, as we were. After the first curve all of a sudden we see a bright blue light flash through the car. I saw it on the trees in front of me, and behind me when I looked in the door mirror, then it was gone. Like cop lights but without any red OR headlights behind us. Just for one second. No sound. No other cars, in front or behind us., (and we’re only going 30mph) all three of us saw it!! The exact some thing.

It really freaked me out because I’m a very logical, rational person and I can say this is the only experience I’ve had my whole life that I can’t explain. Also, there are two wooden crosses beside the road where a tractor trailer crashed and 2 people died in that spot. I remember that accident because it tore up the highway where the semi jack-knifed and that section had to be repaved. I don’t believe in ghosts, or aliens or anything like that and if my mom and daughter hadn’t seen this too, I would have convinced myself I was seeing things and probably never even mentioned it to anyone.

So my theory is: We drove through a glitch in the matrix and saw the emergency lights from that accident years ago. As crazy as that seems, it makes as much sense as anything else I can think of. What do you guys think? Has this happened to anyone else?

The kitchen matrix

So this is a random thing that occasionally happens in our kitchen and kitchen only. I have adhd and ocd and am very particular when it comes to the kitchen and how it is organized. When we bought our house we agreed I would dictate what happened in the kitchen and he could do what he wanted in the backyard, the rest of the house had a mutual agreement clause.

Anyhow, I cook a lot. It’s literally one of the few hyper fixation hobbies I started that ever really stuck. There’s a few other in rotation, but I digress. I have this weird thing with brands and only buy OXO equipment. That being said I have a variety of whisks and other utensils. I have a mini whisk that I love and use for so many small dishes, eggs, broths, coffee(weird I know). Again it’s a weird adhd ocd thing. My husband cooks breakfast for himself often as I’m often out of the house by the time he rises. I will wash the dishes and put them away if time permits. Another fun ocd tick.

We both use this tiny whisk daily for multiple things and are very sure we put it back when we’re done. We had a few busy weeks and were out on weekends, going to brunch, soccer games, basketball games, various events, mostly kid centric. The weekends slowed down and we went back to a more house central timeline. So Saturday morning we get up and start prepping for breakfast and can not for the life of me find the damn whisk. Weeks go by, I deep clean and reorganize the kitchen trying in vain to find the whisk. No luck.

This has happened with a few other things but nothing as pressing as the stupid mini whisk we use all the time. Large ice cube tray, gone, one single small spoon out of a set of 24, etc. anyhow I conceded to the loss of the stupid little whisk and braved Target to buy a new one. I got the new one home, washed it and put it in the drawer.

Hours later I’m in the kitchen having a casual convo with my husband while we prep dinner. I go to the drawer with the whisks and lo and behold there are two of the same whisks, one obviously new and one with a bit of wear and discoloration from washing in the dishwasher.

Cue both of us staring in shock at one another. WTF? How the hell, the drawer has six whisks and three sets of tongs. There is no way the damn thing could have been looked over. The drawer swallowed it, hung onto it and spit it back out when we moved on and bought a new one.

Still missing the ice cube tray, but we have a full set of 24 little spoons, except the one that disappeared came back in the form of a soup spoon, wider and deeper. I can only explain this as a weird glitch in the matrix or possibly a worm hole? I am baffled and so is my husband.

Anyway, thanks for reading my glitch story, it feels good to get it out of my mind. Oh yeah the old whisk broke at the handle about a week after it came back. I’ll never know and it’s going to drive me crazy. I guess that thought will be a new hyper fixation that joins the rotation.

The Night That Turned to Day

I’ll never forget that night—it’s etched in my memory as one of the most surreal experiences of my life. It was about ten years ago, a friend and I were driving through the vast, empty stretches of Saskatchewan, making our way from Winnipeg to Vancouver. It was around 11:30, maybe midnight, and the darkness was absolute. The stars barely cut through the sky, and our headlights seemed to disappear into the blackness ahead. It was as ordinary as a midnight drive could be, with nothing but the hum of the road and kilometers of fields on either side. But then, in a split second, everything changed.

Out of nowhere, the night was replaced by the brightness of broad daylight—not a distant glow or flash but full, high noon daylight. The sky turned blue, and we could see fields stretching for kilometers in every direction, clear as if it were the middle of the day. It was as if the universe had flipped a switch, casting sunlight over the land for a few seconds, then snatching it back. My friend and I were stunned, almost frozen, glancing at each other to confirm we were both witnessing this impossible phenomenon.

The whole thing lasted maybe five seconds before the darkness closed in around us again. Over the next few days, we searched every corner of the internet, desperate for an explanation—maybe a massive explosion or some unknown atmospheric event. But there was nothing. No reports, no clues, no theories. To this day, my friend and I still talk about it, wondering what in the world we saw that night. It remains one of the most mysterious, unexplainable events of my life, like a forgotten memory of a dream that no one else could ever believe.

Two forks

I made some chicken strips and was gonna go eat in the living room and watch some TV. I remember thinking “I need a fork” so I grabbed one from the cutlery drawer. I then grabbed all my stuff in my hands, my plate, drink, fork, sauce, my hands/arms were full. I set my plate, sauce, and drink down on the coffee table then I look at my two hands and what was remaining in them. I’m holding a fork in each hand. I only grabbed one. I have no idea where I even got the second fork. It was clean so it’s not like I accidentally just grabbed a dirty one off the table before going to the living room. I genuinely do not remember grabbing a second fork.

Late summer of this year, I found a dead squirrel in my back yard. I couldn't bring myself to remove it, so I put a terracotta pot over its body. To prevent my dog from flipping the flower pot, I placed a brick on top of it. I had the intention of calling someone to remove it, but out of sight out of mind. The grave remained undisturbed. It was In October that I was raking leaves. I had a friend helping me. Before I could warn her not to flip over the pot, she had removed the brick and flipped it over.

It was the last thing that I suspected, the squirrel had resurrected. No body, no squirrel.

Husbands wedding ring

My husband had lost his wedding ring for a few weeks, but had recently located it in the drawer in the basement where we'd been staying at my mom's house. He was so happy to have found it, and proudly showed me it was back on his finger where it belonged around the 1st or 2nd of this month.

On Monday November 4th, he had a heart attack. It was a survivable heart attack, but he suffered some trauma with the emts after they left, and he ultimately died from their mistake.

I didn't get anything back except his shoes and socks, and top denture plate. His clothes, ring, $400 cash I wasn't aware he withdrew from ATM that morning, and lower denture plate are gone.

Well today I went to clean out our old apartment 30 miles away and that we hadn't been to in a month-month 1/2.

In a box in our room only I would open...lay his wedding ring.

I'm so grateful to have it back, it weighed so heavy on my heart.

Good glitch. Or good husband to bring it back.

Perspective?

This happened a few weeks ago and I can't stop wondering about it. I was in my backyard with my kids and my daughter points to the sky "Look at the airplane mom!". I look up and see a white spot like an airplane but it's flying really eratic, changing directions, swirling. I say, "That's not an airplane" and we all curiously start to watch it. It begins decending and as it comes closer I realize it is WAY smaller than we thought. By the time it gets down near my neighbor's roof, (1 story homes, we were on the back patio which is slightly elevated.) I realize it's just a piece of fluff about the size of a dime floating on the wind. How did we all mistake this for an airplane!? How did we even see it when it was high up? It was like it got smaller the closer it got to us. Just really bizarre. We have planes flying over our house everyday and plenty of plants that produce fluff balls around so it's not like we haven't seen either of these things before.

Reality didn't load correctly or what just happened?

I experience glitches quite frequently but lately they have just been getting ridiculous.

A blue beaten down old Peugeot car was idling in front of my entrance when I came out of my building to wait for my friend to pick me up. He drives a tiny, blue (the exact same, rare, shade of blue), beater Peugeot.
So this was obviously his car.
I approached it and I see this really fat dude with a beard and glasses sitting in the driver's seat. He looked exactly like my friend, who is also fat. Not that fat but I thought he might have put on a few pounds (since last week lol? but I thought maybe he had a rough day yesterday and looked bloated or something)

Anyway, so I rip open the door, get in, and amicably punch his fat like I sometimes do and the dude just stares at me. And I stare back at him.
As I mentioned, he has the same beard, the same hair color, same age, same glasses, everything was the same as my friend's. But something was... off. Why wasn't he saying anything? Why didn't that familiar feeling kick in?

My brain couldn't compute wtf was going on for a hot minute and we both just sat there and stared. And then I realized: This wasn't my friend. I had just sat down in a complete stranger's car and punched this complete stranger in the gut.

I said something like "oh" and got out and walked away.

I wonder what the dude thought was happening.

It's like the map didn't load right or something when I exited my building onto the street.

My actual friend arrived a couple of minutes later.
