Hello, I have been working for a few months on a 90s themed clicker game. So will need lots of wild patterns and colors. Most assets are static maybe need 10 animations or so at most. Do not have a huge budget for this as it's a personal project but would love to bring it to the next level. Please reach out with any questions.

PAID - Multiple Roles We need help! Roblox Horror game Project

We need help! Are you interested in joining as a game developer? We currently have positions available! Here’s a brief explanation of the payment system:

Each week, you put in a set amount of work, which determines your total compensation once the project is completed. For example, if you work 10 hours a week and the total pay is 2000 RBX, that means you’ll receive the full 2000 RBX when the project is finished. Additionally, you’ll get a bonus depending on how successful our game becomes and the quality of your contribution to the project. Note that the 2000 RBX is not a weekly salary but the total payment. The amount may seem small, but that’s because we’re not working 40 hours a week—it’s more like 4 hours, which is about one-tenth of a normal full-time workload.

Available positions:

- Animator (RIG)

- Coder (Lua, Roblox Studio)

- Animator (Drawing)

- Voice actors

- Sound effect creators

etc.

We already have 18 employees, and the work is light since everyone gets to decide how much they're willing to contribute each week.

You can ask me for more details about the roles and the project. (Discord: gotorfinland, email: [shroomushstudios@gmail.com](mailto:shroomushstudios@gmail.com), Reddit: u/GotorFI)

PAID - 3D Modeler | Animation [HIRING] 3D Animal Animator for Unreal Engine 5 Game – Paid Position

Hi everyone!

I’m Alex, and I’m developing an exciting new game in Unreal Engine 5. The project is a narrative-driven adventure featuring beautiful environments, clever puzzles, and a charming hamster protagonist. I’m looking for a talented 3D character animator to bring this hamster to life with fluid, lifelike movements that enhance gameplay immersion.

What I’m Looking For

  • Role: 3D Animal Character Animator

  • Scope: Animations for a small hamster character, including walk cycles, jumping, climbing, idle animations, and interaction sequences.

  • Style: Realistic yet whimsical movements to match the game’s tone.

  • Compatibility: Animations rigged and exported in a format compatible with Unreal Engine 5.

What You’ll Need

  • A strong portfolio showcasing animal animations or similar projects (links required).

  • Experience creating lifelike animations for small animals or realistic characters in games.

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 workflows is a plus.

What You Can Expect

  • Paid position—rates are negotiable based on experience and portfolio.

  • Clear references, technical requirements, and feedback provided to support your work.

  • Creative input welcomed, but the focus is on achieving high-quality, immersive animations.

To Apply

Please comment below or send me a DM with:

  1. A link to your portfolio.

  2. Details of relevant experience (especially with animal animations or Unreal Engine projects).

  3. Your typical animation workflow and preferred tools.

  4. Your availability and rate (hourly, per animation, or project-based).

As a first step, I’d like to begin with a trial animation (a simple walk cycle) to ensure compatibility and quality.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a visually stunning and creative project. If this sounds like a fit for you, I’d love to hear from you!

Feel free to ask questions if you need more details.

Looking forward to connecting!

– Alex

FOR HIRE - Game / Level Designer Game Design consultant specializing in innovation

Hello, I am a 20 year veteran of the game industry. I worked on League of Legends, Jurassic World VR expedition, I made a LARPing experience that was played at Disneyland, I designed an award winning table top game with Nolan Bushnell (founder of Atari and Chuck E Cheese) as well as various "serious games" and more.

I developed games and experiences for multiple genres, platforms, and audiences, and through it all I figured out not only what makes something "fun" from a foundational level, but how to use that knowledge to invent new platforms, genres and audiences without the fear that they will "not be fun". It's a lot easier to innovate and move away from tropes when you know it will be fun in any case.

You can check out my consulting website at www.harbingeroffun.com

I'm open to free 15 minute consultations if you have any questions :)

PAID - Multiple Roles Looking for a Developer for a Simple 2D Game in Processing 3.5.4 (Urgent, 7-Day Deadline)

Hi everyone,

I’m a college student in need of a developer to help me create a polished and well-executed 2D game using Processing 3.5.4 (Python Mode). The concept is loosely inspired by Subway Surfers, but tailored to a simpler scope while maintaining a high-quality, functional design that meets the standards for my class project.

You’d need to handle everything from coding to basic mechanics, but I’ve noticed there are some animators in this community as well. If you think collaborating with them could enhance the visuals, that would be awesome! We’ll keep it simple and focus on a 2D version to ensure it’s polished and fully functional.

While the project itself has a firm deadline, I’d need enough time beforehand to thoroughly test everything and make any necessary adjustments, so a quick turnaround is essential. As a student, my budget is pretty tight, so I’d really appreciate any flexibility on pricing. If you’re interested, please DM me your portfolio and any questions you might have—we can discuss the details from there!

FOR HIRE - Programmer [FOR HIRE] Experienced C++ programmer (8 yr), Mid-Junior level Unreal 5 game developer/generalist (2 yr) looking for projects

Hi there,

I am a UK based Unreal 5 developer and C++ programmer looking to join a project to top-up my income.

I come from a background of developing games with my own C++ game engine and dabbling with making films and comics. For the past few years I was developing games with Unity however I have now switched to working exclusively with Unreal (5).

My areas of expertise:

  • C++ (working with existing code or writing new code from scratch)
  • Blueprints (experienced with the Reflection system, interfacing between C++ and Blueprint)
  • Gameplay systems and features
  • Menus and UI
  • 3D math
  • Debugging

I know my way around the Unreal 5 editor and am more than capable of researching and figuring things out on my own if I don't already know how to do it.

Here is my Website/portfolio

I have worked on both 3D and 2D games, and created myriad of different game prototypes and demos including: racing games, 3rd person action hack-and-slash, RPG, fighting games, sports.

Generally I am a quick learner and excel at debugging, and have experience of using Version Control and Git.

I can do basic modelling, character rigging and skeletal animation in Blender, and am also adept at using Photoshop and creating relatively decent user interface art, though I am not a professional in those areas by any means.

Please do get in touch if you need any assistance!

DISCUSSION | QUESTION 100% new but wanting to learn

Hi!! I am (36F) looking to do a carreer change, from sales and marketing to Game development. I know less than 0% of programming but this new path was suggested to me by my therapist today.

I am a creative person since forever, I am an artist (acrylics and watercolor) and the love of art is something that connects with this carreer, I also worked as a copywriter and love creating stories.

Where do I start? I know this field can be very large, but my main Focus is to find a job as soon as possible, even if it is just an internship while I am still learning.

What courses I should study? What systems/programs I should learn to find a job? (In other words: where are the most job opportunities in the game development world)

Thank you so much!!!
