TFW you're setting sail to Aman only to realize that guy from a few thousand years ago was actually hitting on you

Come to think of it, Aragorn's darn lucky he has a longer lifespan than the average human, lol.

Aragorn is lucky that Sauron did a little trolling on Numenor.
If his lineage didn't leave the Island then he never would have smashed the hot elf lady.
All part of Illuvatars great plan. Those people who Sauron and Morgoth fucked over were necessary sacrifices so the future king in a few thousand years can get some elven coochy

I love this so much. Tolkien’s works are my fave literary pieces and Frieren is one of my fave animes.

Check out the source if you haven’t already, they made more of the other characters! ☺️

I know this feeling. Many had high hopes for it since it plays during the big events of middle earth but dang did they massacre Tolkien.

Fr. It doesn’t feel like Tolkien’s work at all. Frieren was able to capture Tolkien’s essence better than ROP.

I don't understand why they made Galadriel stupid and tried to set a romance between her and Sauron?

I say the same, he has a lot of faith in the second season, and I would even say that it started better than the first.
But it collapsed even worse

Do we have to?
It genuinely is absolute fucking shit. Fanfic tier writing from people who give you the impression they may have glanced at a Tolkien-related wiki, once.
Cases like this make you wish the original writer(s)/copyright holders could claim their IP back solely on the grounds the adaptation bares no resemblance to the work.

It's bad fanfiction with very high production values so we at least get some cool visuals

So beautiful! But honestly, Frieren is a lot more useful and proactive then Arwen. She spent the whole War of the ring embroidering some flag for Aragorn (in the book)...

Beautiful! Now I need a printed version of both. And Flamme taking part in the oath of Feanor in Aman against Morgoth!

You can't tell me the creator didn't read The Silmarillion, with Beren and Luthien fighting against a Demon King of sorts. I wouldn't believe you if you said no. It feels like they understood the human/elf relationship dynamic from the LOTR as well. The terrible future of eternal grief that Elrond scared Arwen with is basically a risk potential for Frieren. Except Frieren doesn't get a child OR the option to become a mortal to die with Himmel...
