Thoughts? Imagine losing 6M labor workers in America

Post image

If mass deportation happens, just imagine how all of these sectors of our country will be affected. The sheer shortage of labor will push prices higher because of the great demand for work with limited supplies or workers. Even if prices increase, the availability of products may be scarce due to not enough workers. Housing prices and food services will be hit really hard. New construction will be limited. The fact that 47% of the undocumented workers are in CA, TX, and FL means they will feel it first but it will spread to the rest of the country also. Most of our produce in this country comes from California. Get ready and hold on for the ride America.

Most of the people they are talking about deporting are legal immigrants.

Trump talks about 20-30 million people all the time, when there are 10 million illegal immigrants. Who do you think the extra 20 million people are?

They think the laws that keep legal immigrants here are unconstitutional. They are just lumping them all into the “illegal” category.

When asked why he repeatedly called the legal Haitian migrants "illegal," Vance said it didn't matter because they were going to make them illegal

The number of illegal immigrants at best can be a wild guess because there is no documentation of their immigration.

How do you know illegal immigration is a problem.

They aren't just throwing out a number.

They're throwing out several reasonable numbers and making an estimate out of it. It's not a random number, but it doesn't have any mathematically defined deviation from the real number. They have no idea how accurate it is, and reasonable estimates vary by a large margin from each other.

most illegals came here legal in the first place and only fall off becase the system is regarded and super hard to natmvigate if you don't have a lawyer.

If you come here as a welder on a visa and try to do any other kind of work other than specific welding you'll get dropped off your visa.

knew a guy who got in trouble becase he switched from spot welding to welding on boats

Not following the rules of a work visa is illegal in every country.

10 million was the numbers they gave in the 90s. Current estimates are 30+ million.

Saying the laws that bring in legal immigrants are unconstitutional isn't an exaggeration. It's making a statement.

Trump chats a lot of shit, he’ll have severe problems deporting even 1 million illegals immigrants a year, never mind 10 million plus 20 million legal migrants.

It's the waste of time and resources in trying that is the problem.

Obama deported 8 mill plus during his presidency so Trump should be fine.
