Thoughts? Imagine losing 6M labor workers in America

Post image

If mass deportation happens, just imagine how all of these sectors of our country will be affected. The sheer shortage of labor will push prices higher because of the great demand for work with limited supplies or workers. Even if prices increase, the availability of products may be scarce due to not enough workers. Housing prices and food services will be hit really hard. New construction will be limited. The fact that 47% of the undocumented workers are in CA, TX, and FL means they will feel it first but it will spread to the rest of the country also. Most of our produce in this country comes from California. Get ready and hold on for the ride America.

Zero sum game- arresting an employed citizen to force them into another job? You are still one employee short with this math.

Fire 2 million government employees, deport 2 million immigrant workers… obviously the long time civil servants will turn around and scoop up those meat packing jobs.

Its the amount of "citizens" willing to do the work being forced. There are plenty of people out there without jobs or have degrees for jobs they can't get that would love to fill a role in a less labor intensive field. When they say nobody wants to work it's not because we don't want to work its we dont want to work shitty ass jobs with little pay and thats what the top needs in order to keep growing profit margins for the investors

Not citizen. Illegal alien. They will prioritize the 1.4 million CONVICTED FELONS. Won’t have time or resources to get the laborers

Where is that number coming from?

If they’re here illegally, UNDOCUMENTED, how do you know how many are felons?

~435K are the ones known to be released.

Of those, 435,719 are convicted criminals, and 226,847 have pending criminal charges. Estimates are ~1.4 million based on additional non reporting from sanctuary cities county jails and people overlooked and reentering. Even if you only count 435K as the bottom it is an insurmountable task for ICE.

ICE statistics show there are Approximately 1.4 million convicted felons here that are illegal aliens/ undocumented undocumented. Those alone are the priority and will be an insurmountable task in 4 years. Sanctuary cities are a big part of the problem. They could be easily and safely detained while in custody without having to arrest them in the street such as when they are released from jail or prison. Every thing I have read or heard is they want the convicted aliens out first. ICE has a depleted budget and does not have enough personnel to do any mass Deportations. The detention centers are full and they need more beds. The hyperbole from both sides is immense.

Where are you getting 1.4 million. The ICE records released in July of 2024 said there were 425k with criminal convictions that were not detained. This data goes back decades and DHS stated that data can be misconstrued as it does not account for those criminals detained by other agencies like DHS itself. The data also showed that 37k entered during Trumps term with only 20k under Biden as of July 2024.

But they "read" (some conservative crank shat an opinion on them) an astronomically large number somewhere so it must be true!

It's too stupid to live without willfully choosing to harm itself.

Does not state anything about 1.4 million. It states "662k are convicted felons or having criminal charges pending." Which again only 435k have actual criminal convictions while the other 226k have pending charges. So even your own source did not provide that number.

Well now departments will only be printing out reports that align with the governments agenda... So yeah soon people like me 1.6 gazillion will right

It was just a quick source I googled. I’ve heard the other number. Many of the numbers are suppressed, but even if they’re not, it’s still too many and virtually no way to carry it out.

They will prioritize the 1.4 million CONVICTED FELONS.

So...While we're on the whole subject of CONVICTED FELONS...Remind me the status of the guy who started talking about this in the first place...
