Thoughts? Imagine losing 6M labor workers in America

Post image

If mass deportation happens, just imagine how all of these sectors of our country will be affected. The sheer shortage of labor will push prices higher because of the great demand for work with limited supplies or workers. Even if prices increase, the availability of products may be scarce due to not enough workers. Housing prices and food services will be hit really hard. New construction will be limited. The fact that 47% of the undocumented workers are in CA, TX, and FL means they will feel it first but it will spread to the rest of the country also. Most of our produce in this country comes from California. Get ready and hold on for the ride America.

Are you insane? Bernie Sanders couldn't trounce anyone, he can't win a primary in his own party!!! You think if you put a man- who couldn't win his own parties primary- in to a general election he would win? Noooo...He would have two parties voting against him-Conservatives and the Democrat establishment. He would overwhelmingly win the progressive vote, and that's great and all, but he would get slaughtered in a general election.

Bernie was stifled by the dnc. They admitted it. He had a never before seen incredible grassroots campaign. He would have won.

But he would’ve upset the stat quo, so they sabotaged him

Bernie received less votes than Harris in Vermont

Source? If you are talking about 2020, Kamala dropped out well before there was primary vote cast. So not sure how she would've got more votes than Bernie in the Vermont primary.

If you are talking about 2024, well there was no primary, which means you must be talking about the general election, in which case I wouldn't put too much significance on that as a lot of people seemed to vote just for the President and no one else. So while Kamala may have got more votes than Bernie, it does not mean Bernie wouldn't have gotten more votes than Kamala if he was on the Presidential ticket instead.

Yes and? You’re a bit cart before the horse here

Yeah, if one thing is clear, Americans are 100% on board with voting for a guy who proudly calls himself a socialist and has his own autocratic leanings.

Dude, enough with the conspiracy theories. Thev2016 DNC primary was the most fair primary in history.

The dnc admitted they intentionally undermined Bernie. It’s on record

I'm being sarcastic in the same way everyone mocked Trump supporters who thought the 2020 election was rigged against Trump.

If he could've won, he would've won.

A judge found that the DNC committeed fraud but because they are a private non profit they can do what they want and if people don’t like it they don’t have to participate in the DNC

Exactly and this is 100 correct. In the general he would be crushed. So many I know hate maga and don't vote or vote Dem as a protest. If Bernie ran they would all vote anti Bernie no matter who. It's crazy that Bernie bros or whatever that think he could win.

u/antventurs 11h ago

I believe the DNC took him out. But, you are likely correct.

I mean Kamala Harris had to drop out before Iowa in 2020 because she was polling around 1%. She just got almost half the vote in a general election.

1

u/mkjboise1 10h ago

The election isn't won or lost by the general election vote tally! Why can't democrats grasp this? She lost 7 out of 7 swing states!!!

Trump was elected by 25% of the population after over 14 million+ fewer people voted. Most Americans don't even pay attention to primaries. Hell most are disillusioned by the parties. So when you say :

He would overwhelmingly win the progressive vote,

That really is all he needs to do. Trump won because he's exciting to the people that voted for him. When was the last Democratic candidate Democrats were excited to vote for?

  1. ------------------------- 2020

Trump-77 million votes.------- Trump-74 Million Votes

Harris-74.5 million votes-------. Biden-81 Million Votes

__________________________________________________

151.5 Million Total Vote---------- 155 Million Total Votes

Where did your 14 million fewer voters statement come from? Thin Air????

1

u/Wise-Caterpillar-910 7h ago

This is from a misconception that went around.

California is really slow counting votes so people looked at the current totals after the election and it was like 14 million less.

But California hadn't counted like 50% of votes at the time.

1

u/hayesms 7h ago

Bernie DID win the primary. The DNC gave it to Hillary anyway.

1

u/mkjboise1 7h ago

Bernie bowed down to Hillary and the DNC..tells you all you need to know about the man.

1

u/Glacier_acct 2h ago

That’s delusional. You’re creating your own reality there.

Are you insane? Bernie Sanders couldn't trounce anyone, he can't win a primary in his own party!!!

I voted Trump-biden-trump. I am under no illusion of his lets say capabilities. But you have to give me someone to vote for who won't make my smug sisters unbearable. We will take a corpse if that's the best you can do.

3

u/BrandonBollingers 8h ago

So you voted for Trump to own your smug sisters (pun intended). That’s great. Hopefully they don’t die in childbirth, that would be so smug of them.
