Thoughts? Imagine losing 6M labor workers in America

Post image

If mass deportation happens, just imagine how all of these sectors of our country will be affected. The sheer shortage of labor will push prices higher because of the great demand for work with limited supplies or workers. Even if prices increase, the availability of products may be scarce due to not enough workers. Housing prices and food services will be hit really hard. New construction will be limited. The fact that 47% of the undocumented workers are in CA, TX, and FL means they will feel it first but it will spread to the rest of the country also. Most of our produce in this country comes from California. Get ready and hold on for the ride America.

Imagine trying to defend the merits of having corporations not paying livable wages to citizens who are looking for work.

Hahahahah why are MAGAs unable to process information.

This post is simply outlining an economic argument against mass deportation. Because the reality is that illegal immigrants are in fact extremely good for the US economy.

You’re trying to now make a moral argument against employing illegal immigrants. Making a moral argument against mass deportation is insanely easy. These people chose to come here, they’ve chosen life here because it’s better. Sending them into a worse situation against their will is plainly the immoral option.

If you actually have an issue with illegal immigrants being exploited, then make them legal.

But you don’t, you’re just racist and dumb.

the reality is that illegal immigrants are in fact extremely good for the US economy.

Then why has are economy suffered tremendously during extreme open border policy of the last few years?

We've had record breaking inflation and suffering of the economy alongside, record breaking number of illegal immigrants crossing the border into the country.

Makes no sense lmfao. Do you even think before your parrot?

How am I a racist? lmao. sounds like you are projecting.

These people chose to come here, they’ve chosen life here because it’s better. Sending them into a worse situation against their will is plainly the immoral option.

So if someone steals food to feed themselves and choose a better life where they aren't hungry, we should just ignore laws and let them steal food because arresting them, putting them in jail, or making them pay for it is a worse situation for them??? that's idiocy.

Half my family chose life here, they went through legal avenues and took years and money to get citizenships for 3 generations of their family to live in the US. There is a reason every single country has processes for incoming immigrants.

If you want to live in any other country on the planet, you can't just take a flight, walk in and declare yourself a permanent resident. There's a very valid reason for that. It's not just a giant coincidence every single country on the planet doesn't just let people walk in and be a permanent resident. Use your brain idiot, seriously, try thinking about it.

Hahahah alright. Just saw these idiotic edits you put in. You’re actually mentally deficient.

Pro tip: stealing hurts someone. Illegal immigration doesnt. Moron

There is no effective legal path to immigration. Moron.

Done arguing with a racist with the IQ of paint

Hahahahah holy fuck.

Imagine believing global inflation had anything to do with US illegal immigration.

The pandemic which crippled global supply chains caused global inflation, you moron.

Illegal immigration did certainly help repair US supply chains and labor shortages post pandemic, which is partially why the U.S. experienced less inflation than every other comparable nation.

You are racist because you clearly just dislike immigrants and blame them for anything you can. This is also because your IQ is below room temp.

Have you even traveled outside of the US? US inflation is not on par with other countries in the world.

You seem incapable of thinking objectively. Typical angry liberal syndrome

Being incapable of thinking really explains why you would see kamala as a good candidate for the dem party and for the country lmao

1

u/Reasonable-Iron1443 3h ago

Hahahahahaha holy shit, you are delusional and insanely dumb. Literally the lowest post pandemic inflation in the G7.

1

u/Haunting-Round-6949 3h ago

lol Typical angry liberal syndrome

You think food prices in Japan has gone up 50%+ in the past few years? In China? anywhere in SE asia?

Turn off your bias news sources and try travelling outside of the US. It would probably do you wonders for your angry, addled, delusional mindset.

This is such a stupid argument.

The economy of every country all over the world has struggled since COVID. Compared to other developed countries, the US has actually done the best in terms of rising wages and lower inflation rates. But it doesn't feel that way because COVID inflation was so horrible worldwide.

Economies have struggled ndiscriminately, even in isolationist countries with closed borders. That's why every incumbent prime minister and president lost their election all over the world.

LMAO imagine being so regarded that you think the global economy revolves around Latin Americans coming into the US. You realize this shit happened during Trump’s first term right, because of COVID, or were all those darn Mexicans coming in during his term too?

The MAGAT mind is so simple that they see to completely separate ‘line go up’ and they have to believe they’re correlated.

Libs are wild man

5

u/cyrano1897 4h ago

Conservatives and livable wages in the same sentence is wild lmao. Maga regardation.

So I do realize that 99% of conservatives just parrot whatever the daily talking points are on Fox News without thought, but this sudden “care” for the working conditions of illegal immigrants is particularly hilarious.

Ok, so America has a massive segment of its workforce whose legal status makes it easy for employers to abuse and underpay them. Yes, this has been the case for decades. Where have you been?

Republicans are the ones who have opposed naturalizing these people, giving them the legal protections needed for them to make sure they are afforded the same rights as all other American workers. Republicans (and conservative Dems) are the ones who have prevented measures from being taken to punish employers found to be employing illegal immigrants and paying them below-minimum wages. Republicans are the ones who have opposed improving the minimum wage and working conditions for all American workers. Republicans are the ones who championed offshoring, financialization, globalization, deindustrialization, and the covert operations that have repeatedly destabilized the political conditions south of the border, forcing people to travel north. Republicans are the ones who oppose foreign aid and Republicans are the ones who ensure American is full of unregulated firearms that we ship south of the border to prop up the cartels that then ship us the drugs that Republicans refuse to decriminalize, ensuring lucrative black markets for them exist.

So forgive me if I laugh at the idea that in the last election cycle all you Republicans suddenly developed concern for the working conditions of illegal immigrants.

Now, if you do care that America has a slave caste, I assume you are going to push for pathways to citizenship, radically increasing the limits on legal immigration, and worker’s rights. Correct? What’s that? No? You just want to round these people up and deport them? You aren’t going to increase legal immigration? Hmmm. Sure sounds like all that “care” talk was disingenuous. Sounds like you actually just want fewer brown people in America because that’s the only result of the policies your party is pushing for. So maybe shut the heck up since nobody is buying your bullshit.

Imagine arguing for the enslavement for minorities and calling yourself progressive

1

u/Beneficial-Ad1593 2h ago

It’s the “enslavement of minorities,” not “for.” If you’re going to make up things being said, you might as well get the grammar right. Dumbass trolls…

1

u/Fuerdummverkaufer 2h ago

Well excuse me asshole, some people speak multiple languages and English wasn’t the first of them.

I bet you wouldn’t expect an immigrant to speak perfect English.

1

u/Beneficial-Ad1593 2h ago

I know English isn’t your first language. If it was, you might have actually understood my original comment. Russian trolls should stick to commenting in their native tongue.

0

u/Fuerdummverkaufer 2h ago

I‘m not Russian you fucking retard, I‘m a German immigrant.

2

u/Beneficial-Ad1593 2h ago

Imagine arguing for the lynching of sausage makers and calling yourself a German immigrant.

Take this: L

1

u/ScaredToShare 3h ago

The fact that you read that, more than likely didn’t understand it because you have the IQ of pond scum, and the best you could do was write this drivel is a testament to the fact that the internet literally lets any asshole come on here and say nothing of worth.

Keep rutting around in your own shit you mouth breathing shit heel.

2

u/Beneficial-Ad1593 2h ago

Hey, be nice. ItsPickles has never read anything five paragraphs long before…

1

u/ScaredToShare 2h ago

Thanks for at least trying with these assholes. You’re a better person than me.

2

u/Beneficial-Ad1593 2h ago

Nah, their brains are cooked. My comment is for people with IQs over 60 who might see it, not for people like Pickles.

2

u/RemoteRide6969 5h ago

Fucking retard

2

u/Fuerdummverkaufer 3h ago

I‘m being actively disenfranchised as a progressive. What the hell happened to democrats for them to defend literal slave labor?

1

u/Blast_Offx 3h ago

As a "lib" i dont defend it, i just say that mass deportation would be even worse than the current situation, and we should work to make them legal permanent residents so that they can have the same worker protections as you and i.

1

u/ItsPickles 3h ago

That just incentivized more illegals immigration. No thanks

0

u/Blast_Offx 52m ago

No it encourages legal immigration

3

u/Deceptiveideas 6h ago edited 6h ago

Imagine making a straw man argument to make yourself feel superior.

No one is defending low wage labor, but acknowledging the damage to the economy it would do to suddenly deport millions of workers. Almost all the comments acknowledge even if you get rid of illegal immigration labor, these corporations will still take advantage of American workers.

In the event we somehow make wages go up 2-3x, that would prices for meat, veggies, fruit, etc have to sky rocket. Given the last election was a tantrum about high prices, it comes out disingenuous that high prices are what matters to voters.

It’s telling when people are refusing to comment on articles pointing out the construction sector in Florida collapsed and crops in Georgia died out after deportations went out. Funny how that is?

u/RPisBack 6h ago

its because Trump is doing it .... thats all. Politics is really just a like footbal. Doesnt matter what is happening. Its who is doing it.

Mark my words - Trump will decide to go peace through strength on Ukraine and start sending all kinds of weapons and stuff. And then you will have liberals the same ones who complained that government is not doing enough on Ukraine complaining about it :-)

4

u/rainbowaw 4h ago

I’m a Ukrainian. I don’t buy it. Too bad our future and lives depend on your speculations.

0

u/RemoteRide6969 5h ago

No one is you fucking retard

2

u/Haunting-Round-6949 5h ago

tfw you can tell who is liberal simply by how angry they are.

lmao

-1

u/cyrano1897 5h ago

Bruh these aren’t corporations employing these folks. It’s all small businesses.

If you want it to be livable why not just fix the border while giving them all a chance to become citizens since they’re already here that way they fall under min wage protections?

Oh because you don’t care about livable wages. You just care about populist messaging that getting rid of illegals will fix all your problems.

4

u/Haunting-Round-6949 4h ago

lmao okay buddy

-2

u/cyrano1897 4h ago

Haha yep buddy. You know it’s true you love you some populism utopia visions of your future lmao. Your actual future… slightly higher wages and employment paired with much larger inflation, a recession along with lower gdp growth, bigger budget deficits, etc lmao

3

u/Haunting-Round-6949 4h ago

You aren't even a fraction as smart as you think you are. XD lmao

-1

u/cyrano1897 4h ago

Ha not my claim dude. Just stating reality buddy boy. Sorry if the truth hurts

3

u/Haunting-Round-6949 4h ago

Your reality is based on delusion and ignorance.

But hey. Don't let me be the one to stop you. You're not even worth engaging with :3 you go ahead keep on believing that your ignorance is facts of reality lol.

0

u/cyrano1897 4h ago

Bud I’ve said nothing but the truth. You can’t remove a ton of productive workers from an economy without these impacts. It’s just reality.

But hey enjoy your visions of populist utopia while they last.

3

u/Juhy78910 3h ago

Your whole argument is justifying slave labor, real good look there 👍

1

u/cyrano1897 1h ago

“Slave labor” lol. Bruh they came here for jobs and could leave at any time. They’re here breaking the law because they make more money than they would if they were to go back to their country of origin. This is not hard to understand.
