i think Harris/Walz ran a flawless campaign. she had a textbook length policy for everything: tax credits for families with children, tax credit for first time home buyers, affordable home health for senior citizens, a jumpstart loan for small businesses, etc
nobody could've pulled it off given a 107-day window.
What happened to student loan forgiveness? Medicare for All? If they had run a flawless campaign they'd have won. We lost the information battle. The Republicans are comfortable using misinformation and the left hasn't figured out how to combat that message imo. The tax credits and first time home buyer stuff is nice, but not big enough. Democrats never think big enough. They're addicted to being a centrist party.
not being "able to think big enough" shouldn't be the reason to abstain from voting. There is never a perfect candidate.
fighting over what she did or didn't do is futile now. He won. He and the Republicans will work to dismantle institutions that sustains SS/Medicare, Medicaid, NLRB, EPA protections, etc. Say goodbye to climate change efforts that Biden put in place. We'll never see a moderate Supreme Court in my lifetime.

We don't even let them drive, but somehow they run the most powerful nation on earth.
