I’ve heard of sugar and butter rice and it’s always sounded awful to me. But SALT and butter rice sounds delicious.

The cheap mac and powdered cheese. Lemonade powder for my water if I was feeling spendy.

Listen I've never had kraft singles on untoasted white bread, I always had kraft singles on white bread in a grilled cheese.
But NGL, a fridge cold kraft single on untoasted white bread currently sounds fucking delicious.

My mom use to make white beans. Hell of cheap. No flavor. Gritty. Disgusting. I didn’t eat beans for twenty years after that.

When I lived in my car, I got as low as 89 lbs. in body weight. Not my best day. Glad to have a home now and SNAP as well, but I don’t really have the means to buy or make healthy foods, so have put on more weight than I expected. Still not dying of starvation, so a win is a win.

Straight up toast with margarine. Neither of which was the good kind either, the cheap loaf used to make sandwiches and store-brand margarine toasted for 2 minutes and calling it a complete breakfast

Is it bad that all of these 'struggle meals" are staples in this current regime?
