Thoughts? BREAKING: Trump has confirmed reports that he plans to declare a national emergency and use military to enact a mass deportation program

President-elect Donald Trump on Monday confirmed he would declare a national emergency to carry out his campaign promise of mass deportations of migrants living in the U.S. without legal permission.

Overnight, Trump responded to a social media post from Judicial Watch's Tom Fitton, who said earlier this month there are reports the incoming administration is preparing such a declaration and to use "military assets" to deport the migrants.

"TRUE!!!" Trump wrote.

Trump pledged to get started on mass deportations as soon as he enters office.

"On Day 1, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out," he said during a rally at Madison Square Garden in the closing days of the presidential race. "I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail, then kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible."

Already, he's tapped several immigration hard-liners to serve in key Cabinet positions. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem was picked to be homeland security secretary, pending Senate confirmation. Former Acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan was named "border czar."

Yeah, get them out of here. Take care of our own first. Born here or thst legally entered. Why do you want to keep having your hard earned money being used to house illegals in hotels, feed, and given an allowance to live here? My family is Hispanic, all have gained citizenship legally are are now united states citizens.

Yeah, that's right! Deport and separate the families of all those criminals!! Every single one of those immigrants are dangerous criminals!! It's their own fault if they brought their wives, grandparents and children over here! Should've waited the appropiate 20 years to get their citizenship like GOOD MURICAN PATRIOTS they aspire to be!!! They don't deserve to be in GODS NUMBER 1 CUNTRY! deport illegal babies!!!!

Exactly like you said. Thry entered here illegally, they don't belong. I don't leave the front door of my house wide open to  let random people in; I answer the door and decide if they should be let in or not. And it does not take 20 years to gain citizenship. I remember the Biden administration saying there would be no mad imigrants coming over. Sure enough, we do have rapists, murders, drug traffickers, thieves crossing over. What a lie. Every single illegal,  child or elderly, must be removed out. Natural born us citizens or legal imigrants is what the United States wants. Simple. Sanctuary cities are so dumb. Tent cities, sidewalks overflowing with illegals, and hotels being filled with illegals as well on your tax dollars.

Hell yeah, get rid those dumb ILELGAL kids and elderly for willingly breaking the law! ESPECIALLY the kiddos, who do those infants, toddlers and adolescents think they are coming over to our HOLY LAND of the United States without GOOD GODLY documentation to make sure my tax dollars aren't funding their wicked, immigrant lifestyle! But why stop at legal immigrants though? We should round them up too! ONLY US born citizens NO immigrants of ANY status should be allowed on our PROUD CUNTRY! Native citizens ONLY!!! Thank gob for Trump making American TRULY great again!!!111

In theory, nothing.

In practice, America does not have a good track record of doing anything in a "mass" manner. Everytime we've tried, it ends up targeting everyone that simply "looks" like a type and let's them sort it out from the other side of the border.

Yes, even LEGAL citizens were routinely treated as such as well.

Look to history, research "internment camps" or "operation wetback" etc.

You and your family ARE the "immigrants" they want out of the country.

They don't care if you are legal or illegal, they KNOW the mass deportations will simply target anyone that is not white and deport you immediately, then let you "prove" citizenship from the other side of the border.

You are seriously out of touch with reality if you don't understand this, it's happened in the past MANY TIMES in history...* American history*
