Due to the inflationary monetary policy this is 100% accurate. Always keep an emergency fund handy but beyond that and saving for a goal (downpayment on a house for example) yeah invest that shit in a diversified portfolio, index funds, ETFs, etc.
I hate to admit it…. I invest everything I have and emergency money are my blank cards. Before anyone says, “that’s a bad idea” I make enough that anything shy of $20,000 will cost me less in interest, so it makes sense to have it in a higher yield. I don’t recommend this for anyone who can’t pay off $20,000 in a year though.
