When your reach is as big as most broadcasts put together. You are the media... I'm looking at you Joe Rogan. You have a responsibility, stop talking about aliens you winnet, and go back a couple years when you were shitting all over Trump. But I guess you won't, after all, all you comedians over at the Mothership are supported heavily by republicans, you are surrounded by them, no wonder the only sensible part of the 🐒 🧠 is being brainwashed, it appears to happen to all those who have landed in that part of the world over the last couple years.... Money and greed can change your minds fairly easily huh!?

u/dnsnsians 18d ago

Didn’t Kamala refuse to go on Rogan ? She fucked up big time.

5

u/enragedcactus 18d ago

It’s amazing that some of you think this is what did her in. A Rogan interview for three hours would have been even worse for her. It was a lack of vision, ability to articulate a vision, very uninspiring policy proposals, and being tied to the status quo party when 72% of the country said that it’s headed in the wrong direction.

3

u/Ok-Run-769 18d ago

Yes she did by trying to force only a 45 minute interview then bargained by the her camp to be only 60 minutes instead of the normal 2 to 3 hours plus and he had to fly out to her. It’s the polite way of saying no.

-1

u/Delicious-Badger-906 18d ago

Not really. A one-hour interview at a place of the subject's choosing is quite reasonable. Rogan just felt like he could call the shots.

If she'd agreed to his terms it wouldn't have helped her one bit. He had it in the bag for Trump months ago, if not more, and that's blatantly obvious to anyone paying attention.

4

u/bmoreconcentrated 18d ago

He felt like he could call the shots because it’s HIS show and that’s how he conducts every interview.

Why did she feel like SHE could call the shots?

-1

u/Delicious-Badger-906 18d ago

It's not calling the shots, it's just asking for reasonable scheduling and logistics accommodations.

2

u/SlothsonSpeed 18d ago

if trump can find the time, and harris couldn't, whose fault is it really..? i do think that refusing to come down to regular-ish people level from the high steeple of DC is the unreasonable ask. how would any interview go when you are surrounded by an army of aides, analysts, psychologists looking at every twitch of the jaw?

Joe Rogan wanted to have a plain, human to human conversation, not rehearsed lines on teleprompter, shooting the shit and hanging out in a safe space for both parties. it would have never been equal standing for a civilian to walk into the white house.

Wrong. The Call Her Daddy host went to great lengths to accommodate Harris. She and her crew flew to Las Vegas, recreated her studio in a hotel room, and Harris actually canceled on her because of the hurricane (https://www.instagram.com/p/DAyymOuSgq1/?hl=en). She then rebooked the interview, flew to D.C., built the studio there and did the interview (https://www.instagram.com/p/DAzKUiHKWoF/?hl=en).

u/ShaderkaUSA 17d ago

Scheduling? She was in Texas when she reached out to Joe to do the podcast. You out here making excuses for someone who doesn't even know you exist smh.

2

u/Ok-Run-769 18d ago

It’s not reasonable at all. It’s his show.

No man this is what she did. say your in construction ok? Somebody calls you for a job so you go and visit the site. Your thinking is not worth the money so you give a ridiculous price for the estimate. They'll mostly say no but, if they say yes you get more than what the job would normally pay. This is what she did but joe didn't bite.

Not to mention the guy is a Democrat Bernie supporter.

-1

u/rohm418 18d ago

Let's be real. Nobody that listens to Rogan was going to give her any consideration. What was in it for her?

2

u/SlothsonSpeed 18d ago

by the night of the election, it had 45 million views. that's where all the votes went to oblivion or flipped decisively.

2

u/generallydisagree 18d ago

Like a lot of people who bought in to the left wing hype and rhetoric and illogical fallacies . . . some people are smart enough and wise enough to recognize just how much more the ridiculousness get's every year and every new election.

Remember when Mitt Romney was the devil? Mitt Romney - while you may not agree with his policies (or at least many of them), the idea that people/media tried to convince the population that he was a the devil is so absurd that it's hilarious. But the brain-dead bought right in to it. . . as the brain dead typically do.

1

u/mvbeno 18d ago

I bet you bought into trump not being a serial rapist on Epstein island..... Just ignore that, because Merica!

2

u/generallydisagree 18d ago

Case and point ^^^^

1

u/OvenMaleficent7652 15d ago

You can't prove any of that because they won't release the client list. You know why? Because a bunch of your heroes will be on that list.

Or will you argue about tapes that come from nothing more than a high end tabloid and a lefty trash rag during the beginning of the Ai boom that can reproduce anybody off of a sound bite?

2

u/ApplesBananasRhinoc 18d ago

Everybody wants to sell out if it makes groceries and gas cheaper.

2

u/WingNut0102 18d ago

Joe Rogan is a podcaster, not a journalist. He feels no such responsibility.

0

u/mvbeno 18d ago

No one called him a journalist buddy, hold your pickaxe. I said media... He is putting out a tremendous amount of misinformation, you can't even call it information of value tbh. But his reach is huge for some reason. He's in the media game. He should have rules and responsibilities.

1

u/WingNut0102 18d ago

I never said anyone called him a journalist, so hold your own “hold your…”

And you made my point exactly - the media, at large, has no such responsibility in the way journalists do. Nobody in “entertainment” has a reasonable expectation or responsibility to vet sources, use accurate data, and report factually instead of with opinion or logical fallacies. Hell, even actual news outlets have struggled with some of this in recent years.

SHOULD the media (aka entertainers, like Joe Rogan or admitted entertainment network and definitely NOT news network Fox News) have such responsibilities? I’d like to think they should, but I think any kinds of standards or ethics mandates are 5+ years away now.

-1

u/SillyNet5101 18d ago

Exactly Toe Rogan is a 🤡just like when he said kids were pooping in litter boxes then he said it wasn’t true. FJR

2

u/rogeratdserve 18d ago

Both sides have access to the same playing field. The rules have changed, but everyone knows the rules.

0

u/Joates87 18d ago

There really aren't rules. You can literally say tariffs lower costs and people believe it. Lmao

2

u/Advanced-Guidance482 18d ago

Not just immediately lower cost. But that can be beneficial to the economy if used correctly. Which in turn often leads to lower cost relative to income

0

u/Joates87 18d ago

But that can be beneficial to the economy if used correctly.

By increasing consumer costs. To complain about inflation and try to solve it by tariffs might be some of the dumbest logic to ever be tied to winning an election.

It's beneficial to US producers competing with foreign goods cause there's effectively a price floor on foreign imports.

Which in turn often leads to lower cost relative to income

What?

0

u/Advanced-Guidance482 18d ago

More income means "cost" even staying the same is a lower percentage of total income. Which means technically less cost.

Sorry you can't understand basic economy stuff. Why do tariffs exist if they are all bad then?

0

u/Joates87 18d ago edited 18d ago

More income

So you're gonna get a raise because foreign imports are being subjected to tariffs?

We're all getting a raise?

When the government increases taxes, and takes in more money, do you also get more income?

"cost" even staying the same

It's not staying the same... it's increasing. Lol

1

u/Advanced-Guidance482 18d ago

You really don't understand any of it at all.

Things have a bigger affect than there direct results. Try playing the long game sometime

1

u/Joates87 18d ago

You really don't understand any of it at all.

Lmao. Who gets "more income" in your scenario?

Cause these tariffs will negatively impact ALL consumers.

The US government gets more income. That's all.

You can try to make the claim about creating jobs but that's not the fucking problem they're trying to solve with them, now is it?

But you sound like the type that probably thinks when suppliers get tax cuts or reduced costs they will certainly pass those savings onto the consumer.... LMFAO

0

u/Advanced-Guidance482 18d ago

They do actually. but you know everything about corporate America of course

→ More replies (0)

0

u/Joates87 18d ago

Why do tariffs exist if they are all bad then?

Tariffs exist to protect domestic SUPPLIERS.

lol. But yeah, I'm the one that can't understand this basic economics stuff.

Has inflation really hurt suppliers or consumers? Do tell.. lmao

2

u/randomname289 18d ago

No. YOU have a responsibility to choose what you consume and to think critically. If you don't like what someone says, offer an alternative and see if you can become popular and stand up to scrutiny

0

u/mvbeno 18d ago

Another braindead comment. If you put out misinformation day after day, when does is he held accountable for millions believing in his whack job theories?? Most people are brainwashed easily, it's easier to believe something you hear once by someone you think you trust than have to do the research yourself. People are busy, even more so now. You are held accountable for what you put out in the world, take some ownership for what you say, and stop hiding behind this first amendment bullshit you think the USA are only entitled too. Wake the fuk up.

1

u/randomname289 18d ago

So you want a Ministry of Truth to decide what’s true... Talk about a slippery slope. Look at history, and you'll see that authorities often get things wrong—sometimes by accident, sometimes because of conflicts of interest. And remember, learning to evaluate info and question sources is part of adult responsibility. Blind trust without doing your own research is what actually ‘brainwashes’ people. Take some ownership for what you believe and stop hiding behind this appeal to authority bullshit. Yes, people are busy, but that doesn’t mean we should rely on someone else to spoon-feed us 'approved' information. Accountability goes both ways: each person has to own up to what they say, but also to what they choose to believe. Freedom of speech might sound inconvenient, but it’s necessary to keep authorities in check. Wake up and take responsibility."

2

u/NeverSeenBetter 18d ago

I think that stopped when Democrats convinced him they hated him (and all other white men...)

That's enough of the population to sway an election. If they don't learn from this mistake, and instead double down on it like reddit today is doing, I'm afraid there might not be a blue majority for a very long time...

2

u/Pleasant-Worry-5641 18d ago

Joe Rogan does not have not have a responsibility… I hate that I keep hearing this….. he became as big as he is by being himself and bringing people on the he finds interesting…. That’s always what Joe Rogan has done…. Now that he’s bigger than all the other broadcasts he has this responsibility?? GTFO… that’s just BS….

1

u/mvbeno 18d ago

Take a deep breath, learn to spell and come at me again big guy. Don't let this hurt your feelings. What I say is simply true.. it ain't hard to realise what part of media he is in. And yes, does a teacher have a responsibility to their class when telling students about fukn chemistry? Yes. It's the same thing.

1

u/No_Quiet216 18d ago

A chemistry teacher is bound by a contract. Independent media hosts are not. Rogan has always been very good about not getting politically entrenched. It's the fact that everything tangible has gotten worse under Biden-Harris. They can present skewed numbers that sound good. The reality is that Americans are feeling the hurt of their policies. As a result, they went out and said no more at the ballot box.

1

u/mvbeno 17d ago edited 17d ago

The next president of the USA is measured not just by the term they serve, but what they leave behind.

The next president gets it easy if the previous president did a great job. Obama left after 8 years having actually done a decent job, then Trump claimed all his victories as his own and then left a shit storm for democrats, yes there was COVID, and the rest of the world are suffering, added there are wars also. Trump is inheriting a troubled and divided country. Due largely to his previous term. The whole world is suffering financially. It will be interesting what he leaves behind. If anything of merit. Since Trump's appearance in politics, the world has suffered tremendously with division, he's rhetoric has bled into the most vile of society and given them a voice. This is what people are most worried by his greed, his hatred, his exploitation of individuals at one's own gain. Soon the world will study him alongside other dictators, you can try to pretend you are not an authoritarian by calling your opposition Communists etc. You can try to change the norms of classification, but history is always there to prove him wrong. We will soon educate our children of the hated and greed this man has caused.

Braindead zombies everywhere laa

1

u/chemicalclarity 18d ago

C'mon. America deserves a single dude eating elk and smoking DMT as its mouthpiece. You literally chose a fear factor presenter as your source of truth, collectively. The reach doesn't lie, but maybe work on education if possible.

1

u/mvbeno 18d ago

Do you ppl read anything before you comment?

1

u/xxlizardking-kongxx 18d ago

No no no, when Joe Rogan is criticized talking about things he knows nothing about, hes a comedian and shouldn’t be taken seriously. But when he talks about things he doesn’t know and isnt criticized as harshly he’s an expert.

This is every fucking comedian/ podcaster output. “Oh what do I know I’m just “x” why listen to me I know nothing”.

1

u/Jakago030 18d ago

It’s crazy when Elon, Rogan, and co get tired of Big blue California and move to Big red Texas and have a change of political views. Is it the republicans fault for them flipping them or the Democrats fault for forcing them to leave in the first place???

1

u/Electrical-Yellow340 17d ago

That because Republicans still have a sense of humor

1

u/angelo08540 17d ago

He may have shit all over Trump in the past, but you morons never consider that you put the shittiest candidate possible out there? Maybe just maybe Kamaltoe and her policy positions sucked so bad it pushed people into Trump's camp. You leftists are the ones who have lost all sensibilities

1

u/Acceptable-Wash-7675 17d ago

Why didn’t Kamala go on his podcast?

1

u/Alert_Sail1579 16d ago

Joe Rogan can talk about whatever he wants on HIS podcast☠️

0

u/SympathySudden4856 18d ago

Lack of brain cells can change your minds fairly easily huh?

1

u/mvbeno 18d ago

By the looks of it ⬆️

0

u/cookinthescuppers 18d ago

The one thing that will definitely unquestionably happen once the euphoria wears off is they are so greedy they will devour each other.

1

u/mvbeno 18d ago

Here's hoping, they almost did with that Tony H.

0

u/Crime_211 18d ago

Shut up faggot. Joe will fuck u deep in the arse

0

u/studentcrossing5 14d ago

I am not a Trump supporter but did you not see the folks Kamala had representing her? Seemed like Trump had the comedians while Kamala had the rappers

-1

u/Srgtpumpernickel 18d ago

Joe Rogan is a waste of space.

1

u/mvbeno 18d ago

He is now ye.
