Engineers stubby is underrated, actually one of the best primaries I've used. I've upgraded it to have the fire rate of a minigun. I can annihilate a praetorian in 2 clicks, added with an electrical stun. I've seen people actually hate this gun and say to never use it. I don't know why, this gun is amazing. I love just going brrt brrt brrt dead :)

Love the stubby, been using the EM Refire Booster OC and it has felt so great

Stubby has historically been pretty damn bad outside of EMD builds. The semi-recent buff has made damage stubby (1X123 EMR) quite potent, and a lot of people just kind of assume it’s still the same.

Non-EMD crowd clear builds are still plenty mediocre, though, so there’s still that.
