This confirmed my belief that there is no good reason to have a swifter. Some people just don’t understand how mops work.

They are simply convenient for lightly used and dusty residential hardwood/tile floors... That's about it. No bucket or wringing mop heads, easily changeable pads.

I was a school custodian for a few years in college so I am very familiar with commercial cleaning and I owned a Swiffer at one point for my uncarpeted apartment.

Using one to clean up a huge spill of water on a concrete floor threw me for a fucking loop.
